        If you have 128m RAM, that should be listed as "Available Built-in
Memory: 128m.

        There is a program called Tech Tool that is available on the 'net.  I
suggest that you downlaod it and run the memory test feature.  You may
have some bad RAM.  There is also a series called GURU that provides
some good diagnostic tools.  They should be available at
http://www.macresource.pair.com/mrp/main.shtml


        Your setting of 4096 for cache should be ok.  The VM shold be 1 meg
more than installed RAM.  The catch is installed RAM shows under that
Available Built-in Memory.
