Please.. I know there are some hardliners out there that say "use Linux" as
a response to almost every problem put up on this list and I'm not even
arguing with that... my problem has nothing to do with OS's at all.
Even if I was going from Majordomo to Majordomo I still have the problem of
changing list addresses. It is quite impossible to keep using the old
server or even it's name. We must move them now and the target OS is not
the issue. I was just after experiences and strategies to give the minimum
disruption and confusion to the list members.
So I take it then from the flood of suggestions that no one on this list
has ever moved an active email list from one address to another?
