And to that I would add: technically and/or creatively proficient people
are seldom good managers. They've often learned to do their particular
skills very well and have gotten promoted because of that, yet have no
management skills whatsoever. (How does the old Peter Principle go? People
are always promoted to their level of incompetence?) Approach with extreme
caution. Or take our preferred approach: freelance.
