Mm.  This is a common but still utterly idiotic message: "To properly 
enjoy this site, upgrade now to BrowserWhatever 4.0!"

Goodness. What are these people *thinking*?  Or more to the point, 
how little respect do they have for the intelligence and competence 
of their users?

I mean, think it through.  Has it ever in the history of the Web 
happened that a user, upon seeing one of these messages, said to 
himself: (a) "There's a new version of BrowserWhatever? Wow, I didn't 
know that. I'll go get it right now. Thanks you guys!"; or (b) "Gosh. 
I really really want to see this site. So I guess I'll spend the next 
three hours downloading version 4.0, and another hour trying to 
install it, because goldarn it, these people are right. I *am* behind 
the times.  Good thing they posted that message!"

Doesn't happen real often, I don't imagine...
