Jack, I found the Dummies book, MCSE TCP/IP for Dummies, very helpful. Not
that I wanted to take the exam, but it made TCP/IP both as the standard and
Microsoft's implementation of it with WINS, DHCP etc easy to understand.
Incidentally, I'm planning on networking my Win95 and Linux boxes in the
same way. I've bought the ethernet cards and the cable, now I've just got
to find some time! So it'd be great if you'd post any hints you pick up
from doing it first.
btw, I didn't get an answer yet about installing Linux on my Toshy
Satellite Pro yet - Tique, are you there?
