Well, I should have been more specific perhaps. There is a plethora of
Linux documentation available through the Linux Documentation Project
(LDP) and also related FAQs. A good starting place to find this info is
at linux.org under the Support area.

Also, whever I have a totally weird problem which I can't find any info
for I go to dejanews.com and do a search there.. Usually leads to a
solution.

I believe RedHat comes with a package called caching-dnsserver or
somesuch. Probably installing this package will do the trick.

I believe you'd want to hook up the modem to the Linux box in this case,
otherwise the masquerading element isn't quite useful.

IP masquerading means your Linux box acts as the gateway for your network,
translating any requests to the Internet so it looks like its coming from
one IP address (eg. your Linux box). On the way back it translates it
back to the originating address on your network (eg. your NT box) and
passes the data along...

There is a webpage on that too.. I sent some info about it on this lsit
about a month ago.. I dunno if there are archives. If not, send me a note
and I'll dig it up..

My pleasure, just avoid the armpits :)
