I'll be glad to. I've searched Dejanews and Google and have found some
documents that (I think) come close to solving my problem, but nothing has
been completely accurate. Seems like what I'm doing has probably done
thousands of times, I'm surprised I haven't stumbled on a few discussions
that hold the magic kernals of wisdom.

Heh, my alternate plan, instead of buying some hardware for this Linux box,
was to try to put it on *my* Satellite Pro. The docs on doing that were
somewhat "iffy", so I went the "supported hardware" route. ;-)
I'll let you know more when I do.
