Hey folks,
Anybody familiar with the innards of Vignette's StoryServer? I
just got sort of roped into a contract to work with it (they offered
me too much money). The docs are not horrible but are fairly typical
corporate stuff, kinda fluffy. I've been perusing AltaVisa for the
last several hours and haven't been able to find any technical info on
it. Just tons of mentions of it and occasional vague descriptions.
Anybody know of a site or mailing list, or have any personal
experience they want to share?
I think it's a bit telling that most of the 770 hits I turned up
on an altavista search for "storyserver" are business and stock
related. The one page that went into any technical depth (not a lot
at that) was a still-fairly-superficial negative review from Phil
Greenspun (*). That review was later yanked, apparently after
pressure from Vignette. Of course I haven't managed to browser through
the last two or three hundred hits, yet...
(* www.photo.net, I highly reccomend most of his pages for amusing and
frequently informative reading)
