Just to be clear, Alan is currently working specifically on the part which removes the authentication operations from the larger os.org app and will allow multiple apps to use a streamlined, centralized system. The decision about how to handle content management and the resulting internationalizations and localization options is not being worked right now. Alan's been working this by himself (although he has asked for assistance on multiple occasions) and has made great progress, but he needs to get this first piece done before all the other decisions (and feature requests) get addressed.
