I don't know much about that, but I might argue that the MySQL setup
might benefit from bringing them together under one. But more
importantly you're making an apples to oranges comparison. (We're not
talking about sun.com or solaris.com here).

Fair enough. As for me, I still believe that a plan that aims to
gradually (over a year or two?) phase things so that eventually
everything falls under one or the other (opensolaris.com makes the
most sense I think) would be way better than having both an
opensolaris.org and an opensolaris.com.
