My only concern in having it be 'one and done' is for the first and second time visitors that download the binary and then want to come back for additional high level info. Michelle and I worked through a number of variations, including having a help link under the .com side, but the problem is that it's dependent on what kind of help you need. I think we'll address that on the help landing page. For example, where you should go if your webcam is not working. Also, at this point the goal is to introduce the arrival of the new site. Once they've gotten some traction we'll probably want to rework the landing page.
