He proposed at a waterfall at a camp where he used to work ages ago; apparently he decided way back then, that if he ever got married, he was going to propose at that spot. So it meant something to him, and it was a place he wanted to share with her.
I just don't get it. You're not marrying the proposal, or the ring, or the dress..you're marrying a person.
You know, I didn't used to feel this strongly about weddings. I think it's Gene's influence. I'm really coming around to his point of view on this.
But, Daria..I love that he got the whole restaurant involved! You seem to have a buoyant outlook on life that a lot of other people in your position might not have.
