Dear Friends, I think the slogan of acting "on orders from above" should not be intertained and every person hiding behind such slogans should be put to task to prove that they have followed the necessary procedures to acquire such pieces of land. In any case barifa forest is in Arua municipality and the municipal authorities who have applied for de-gazetting it and spent money in the process and who have a mandate to plan and oversee development in the municipality need to take a lead to establish the persons behind all these and give us a picture of what is happening.
