Hi Chris, If anyone is talking about good reporting in WUP, one is meaning good displaying on the web. WUP does not have a single real report whatsoever. It is not very difficult using Crystal Reports. However, the reporting facility from WUG (wugstatreport) is greatly missed.
Ipswitch, I hope you are listen. Please give us and the community a runtime for Crystal and at least the reports available in WUG. "Greatly enhanced reports" is a misnomer. Reading the dozen or so responses on the WUP performance this morning, I see that Phil in Maine says that WUP doesn't carry over the same reporting abilities as WUG, and I know that Phil was very experienced in the WUG reports, creating his own customized reports. Plain and simple, is the WUP reporting capability truly more customizable and detailed out of the box, or does it still require a good dose of programming knowledge (like utilizing Crystal Reports) to gather only the specific data that you want to see in a report?
