--- Comment #14 from Bartosz DziewoĆski <[email protected]> --- (In reply to comment #13) > Is the procedure on these requests to suggest that the community was > mistaken? > That is it not really the community desire? A sysadmin would do that? Yes, it is, if the request is seemingly in violation of the basic Wikimedia principles of openness and accessbility. > What I am > saying is that what is being questioned should not be and maybe it is outside > of the sysadmin's decision to judge that. A sysadmin would know that, but I > don't know if these out of nowhere imposed barriers are really procedural. You seem to be under impression that you're speaking to your employees or subordinates. This is clearly a wrong impression, please snap out of it. Both Nemo and I are volunteers who ask people like you for answers and clarifications so that the sysadmins don't have to and the requests can be processed more quickly. (In fact, every single person who responded on this bug until now is a volunteer.) > That > is why I am asking sysadmin review. We talk on community. It also says that "Gaining on-wiki consensus and filing a shell bug does not guarantee that the request will be fulfilled. Ultimate authority lies with the system administrators, and shell bugs may be resolved INVALID or WONTFIX due to performance issues or other considerations.". Please consider this. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug. _______________________________________________ Wikibugs-l mailing list [email protected] https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikibugs-l
