When I opened the message, I found that Wayne Johnson had written:

This has been the problem all along. When I do check it I get an
error message saying that it can't put it on the taskbar because the
volume control program isn't installed. It says to go to the control
panel and use "add/romove programs" to install it.
So, the question is: What does one install? What is the file or
whatever, called?
Thanks,
Jim
