Whilst in general I agree with the suggestions made !  I do disagree 
with these comments about insulating the mounting pillars !!

If you look closely at the mainboard, you will see that the mounting 
screw holes are plated through !  So adding tape over the mounting 
pillars will only have the effect of raising the board by the thickness 
of the tape used !!  The screw will still make an electrical connection 
to the groundplane !!

Indeed the added inductance of the thread of the/each screw may actually 
be detrimental to the stability, particularly at gigahertz 
frequencies !!  The metal mounting plate forms part of the groundplane 
for the mainboard and is instrumental in controlling trace impedances 
on the underside of the mainboard.  Increasing the mainboard to 
groundplane separation will raise these impedances slightly ! This may, 
or may not, be of benefit !
