I too wear specs for reading/computing (that's all---I can still make out the 
center line on the highway <smile>).  With my monitor out, I'm using my 
laptop, and, because of the configuration of it, the screen is about a foot 
farther away, so I have to look more carefully at it.

Maybe I'll get a good 19" ($200-300).  It seems the 21" models are quite 
few and far between and a larger one can't be justified, price wise.  Nor 
can, as someone suggested, an HDTV <smile>, since I couldn't really use 
it for both....again based on the configuration of the room <smile>.

Oh well, I go on vacation next week, so I may just wait until I return or I 
may even pick up one out in the Silly Con Valley and bring it back.
