When I opened the message, I found that Gaffer had written:

I know you made sense, but you just left me in the dust? I have never
paid any attention to the refresh rate and wasn't even aware that it could
be "set". So you see how my mind runs about these things. Just hook the
sucker up and if it works satisfactorily, go to work. If it doesn't, then I
gotta figure what's wrong. And thankfully, folks on here are really great
to help.

I do have a lot of problems, it seems, and it takes a lot longer to get
handled that it would if I were more technically minded, but I'm not. I've
no interest in it at all beyond having things work. Now if you need
something built (not computers), but buildings or fences, I can "hep" you
out <smile>. So, my problems hang around longer than yours might.

I meant to call some shops today about possible repair of the monitor, but,
like everything else, I suppose it's a "toss and replace". I got busy and
forgot to call. Maybe tomorrow or maybe I'll run somewhere and buy
one. I really have no options within 80 miles except Wally World and I'm
not too keen about buying something like that from them, although it may
be as good as anywhere else......if a guy had some choices.

Thanks,

Jim
