If you have a look at "Properties" (Left click, properties) you should
see some settings in there for resolution and refresh rates.

If you can find a GOOD TV repair shop, one that will give you a free
Quote ! it may be cheaper than replacing your NEC. If its any help the
problem is almost certainly in the PSU ! Most often around the EHT
circuits !
Though sadly, at least here in the UK if its more than three years old,
its not worth repairing :-(
