My $.02
I have bot refurbished computers. Sometimes it is merely an overstock (over production) or someone taking full advantage of look and return. Or???

I also recently (9 mos ago) bot a refurb lcd tv that will also accept a computer from the phillips outlet and have very satisfied. model 17pf9946/37. I haven't used it as a monitor but as a tv sitting next to the monitor to watch msnbc and fox news while working.

Hi Folks,

I know many of you are computer repairmen.

Some of us are Engineers... Yes !

Would you recommend a refurbished computer?

That would depend upon the quality of the refurbisher ! In general
Yes ! But as always Caveat Emptor !

I know I have purchased refurbished items (mostly tools) and have
been really satisfied, but not sure about electronics.

Regards,

Jim
