Used monitors are generally a fairly good bet !   Since you can pick up 
15 " and 17" ones for next to nothing, often for the sake of taking 
them away !

For instance about four months ago I paid £85 for a skip just to dispose 
of 120 monitors !  Most of them still in working condition, where 
people had traded them for TFT flat screens !   Previously they would 
have gone into "Landfill"   Now they have to be recycled !  Trouble 
is..... Trying to give them away...........!!
