I don't seem to have any problems at all when using another piece of
software for my windows development.

Robust behaviour? I wouldn't mind just 5 minutes of workability from the
only appliction that has given me grief so far under win4lin.

I use win4lin becuase its blisteringly fast. Faster than windows running
natively on similar machines around the department. The only saving grace
for it in my current situation is that it starts in seconds and I can be on
about my development again.
