I'm also sensing a tendency towards suppression of alternate views here. 
Just shut up and take what you're given when you're given it. Don't ask 
questions, especially the hard ones. Don't make waves; maintain an even 
strain. Of course I could be wrong, but that's what I'm getting lately. I 
think this might be an example of what some open source pundits predicted 
would be a problem with mixing open and closed source.
