I have tough skin, so no need to worry about offending me. I have no problem
providing answers to these questions, when I have something to provide. I'd
like to
know the answer I provide has a small chance of changing. I have no problem
being wrong in regards to a technical answer. I do however mind being wrong
when
it comes to answering questions regarding upgrade pricing, release dates, etc.

Take this hypothetical scenario. I tell you today the cost of an upgrade
will cost you $500.
Then next week I tell you, NeTraverse has changed it's mind and it will only
cost you $5 to upgrade. Almost everyone's happy. Now reverse that scenario.
I tell you today it's $5, but for some reason it's decided next week it's
going to be $500. Now
NeTraverse and myself are equivalent to pond scum, because we changed your
expectation.
The reason for the change is irrelevant. Why? The expectation changed in
both scenarios.

I do get the impression that some would like a daily play by play on what
happens here
at NeTraverse and that is not going to happen.

Now I will let this and related threads slip into the background die
peacefully.

Regards,
Mike
