Maybe this question has been answered before and I
have not been paying attention. At any rate my curiosity is kicking
in.
How many beds/prisoners are we talking about for this Huber facility?
Could a large house, duplex or triplex be converted to this use?
Existing residential space would at least seem on the surface to be cheaper
to convert than something that is currently commercial. Are there any
special requirements? One or two persons per bedroom, exercise facilities,
food service, minimum square footage, proximity to the existing jail and
courthouse, bathrooms, etc.
