[Winona Online Democracy]

I'm so glad you mentioned the middle school auditorium, Steve.  I was
thinking about that when I posted, but didn't know where things stood with
that project.

I'll have to check out the pottery studio--that is a new one for me.  I had
thought that the old Thrifty White Drug space might be a good location for
artists and craftspeople to market their work--no windows can be a plus for
preserving fine pieces!  It could start out simple with individuals renting
a particular space to display items for sale and a centralized database for
recording sales for each vendor.  Cooperative members could set standards
for the type of work that could be sold--items that are unique and varied--a
sort of quality control aspect.  Is anyone out there interested in pursuing
something like this?
