[Winona Online Democracy] I've been having this idea about an arts and crafts cooperative. I've found that most places booming with tourism have lots of galleries and restaurants, but it's the the fine art and craftspeople toward whom I gravitate when I travel--there's an awesome one I visited in Boulder over 15 years ago and friend just returned from there with two beautiful textile pieces she purchased at the same place. There's also an awesome one along the Blue Ridge Highway that I remember as well as one on the Cherokee Reservation in S.C. We have so many talented folks here, I wonder if we could get something going?
