Hi Alex >> Why should I wait even one more minute? THAT is the gist of it.
Go to the email archive at http://www.witango.ws And search for this phrase "my conference recap" Scott Cadillac did an excellent job of itemizing the major new features of Witango 5 Also, there has been new functionality added to make the product even better. So the list hasn't congealed yet. >>It seems that anybody who can say anything wants to avoid the whole gist of >>the message - and corners in on that one little thing about release date. There is a document called an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) Which is preventing us from elaborating more. >>Either WiTango 5 has really nothing to offer that's substantial over T2k to >>make people stay on the Tango platform or people like to read the first >>sentence of an email and ignore the rest. "Vaporware = New software that has been announced or marketed but has not been produced" you have a point on the announced part, but the product was running and shown during the announcement at the conference. I believe this is not a vaporware issue. They made it very clear what was going to be in the product and they showed it live. >>Yes, I'm frustrated because all I want is some INFO - not release dates. >>None of the reasons you gave were any good for keeping the INFO quiet. Do you know how frustrating it is to know information but can't release it ;-) Ben Johansen - http://www.pcforge.com Authorized Witango Reseller http://www.pcforge.com/WitangoGoodies.htm Latest downloads & List Archives @ http://www.witango.ws -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] On Behalf Of Alex Kac Sent: Tuesday, July 30, 2002 2:06 PM To: Multiple recipients of list witango-talk Subject: Re: Witango-Talk: Witangov5 ?? Vaporware? OK - that's great. But again - as I've stated 3 times now - I am not asking for a release date that can be broken. I'm asking on WHY we should wait ANY length of time. Why should I wait even one more minute? THAT is the gist of it. It seems that anybody who can say anything wants to avoid the whole gist of the message - and corners in on that one little thing about release date. Yes, I'm frustrated because all I want is some INFO - not release dates.
