Russ, I'm quite satisfied with the current guidelines, and have found the service to be inmeasurably helpful and informative.
Please know that I'm not trying to force change, but I do object to the implication. I'm fine with keeping it on topic, and I was simply suggesting that a more flexible approach may help promote Web standards since all Web-related technologies have to work together.
