Hi all,
Hi Joe,

Here's another idea related to Tx Audio.

When operating in "Split Tx" more we now adjust the nominal frequency of the generated audio signal (actually the frequency of the sync tone) so that it falls in the range 1000 - 2000 Hz. The transceiver Tx dial frequency is offset in 1000 Hz steps to accommodate the adjustment.

I think it would be better to limit the generated audio to an even smaller range, say 1500 - 2000 Hz. Harmonics of the generated audio would then fall outside the transceiver's Tx filter. Signals would be much cleaner in cases where the user has set the Tx audio level too high.

Comments?
No a bad idea. The last couple of times I've listened on 20m there have been some filthy signals and the biggest problem seems to be AF overdrive rather than RF overdrive.

Also the CW generator is very harsh, I was going to have a go at softening the keying some time after these QAudio changes go in.
