Hi Tom,

You don't enter the comma or the space they just show up in the list that way after you enter them.

While I don't use a transverter for 23 centimeters I made the entries as follows to test the function.

Band 23cm
Offset -1268.000000

Then added to the upper list as follows:

Region 2 or ALL (tried both)
Mode FT8
Frequency 1296.174000

Clicked OK at the needed places and it works fine, when I select 23cm from the band pull down list my Icom IC-7300 went to 28.174.000 just as it should.

My rig control is passing through Ham Radio Deluxe. If you are controlling the rig directly it might be an error in Hamlib or something else. I am running V2.6.1 of WSJT-X.

Hope this helps.

Thanks all.

Yes I was following all comments - I have no issue at all with 2m or 70cms offsets - same version of Windows, same rig (TS680) same copy of WSJT. Yes saving all settings with the OK.

Yes was entering -1268 as offset - one thing - could someone confirm the format of the offset on your working system. Here it is  -1,268.000 000 Mhz - note the comma as the separator on 1,268

Harry your example had no comma.  Could it be the locale I have set to UK ?

Thanks

Tom

Hi Tom,

Appending my post:

The offset frequency is a negative number so it should read:

Band = 23 cm
Offset = -1268.000 000 (note the decimal point and the space)

I am using an IC-7300 as the IF radio on my system and my transverter settings for 1.25 meters and 33 centimeters work fine. I don't use a transverter for 23 centimeters as I also have an IC-9700.

Hi Tom,
I use transverters for 1.25 meters and 33 centimeters, using the the same idea try this for 23 centimeters.

Check the frequency list and if there are no entries for 23 cm add them for the modes you want.
Example: Region 2 FT8 1296.174 000
good luck.

Hi - posted on main list but no final solution.

Windows 11, wsjt-X 2.6.2 and 2.7.0-rc2

Setting up a 23cms Transverter with a 28 MHz IF - seems to be an issue. Used an offset -1268 and wsjt-x displayed 23cms ok but cat jumped rig to 1.065 MHz.

Tried the example given on archive for 2m offset -116 and all worked fine, cat kicked in and rig (TS680) switched to 28 Mhz and WSJT-X displayed 144 MHz.

Could it be the , in offset freq -1268 is entered and software formats it to -1,268.000 000 MHz.

Tried the same setup with MSHV and WSJT-X-Improved and worked as expected with -1268 offset. Cat and freq both ok.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions but it does look like a bug rather than user error.
