Sounds good, except for one point: If statistics of a thermal probability are 
based on how many IGC files contain the specific thermal, then the well trodden 
paths will become over-represented and appear thermally advantageous, and by 
then attracting even more pilots, some dynamics towards those paths will occur. 
So, the calculation should include the average glider population of each 
thermal with the probability estimate.
