Hi Jax, we have worked a bit on that part and XCSoar 6.3 will restore the ability... in a slightly different way though. Have a look at http://download.xcsoar.org/releases/6.3_alpha1/XCSoar-manual.pdf (page 177). You can assign pictures (in the XCSoarData folder) to each waypoint by adding an image= line in the waypoint details file.
