Dear Sangha, Yes, I think that has truth. Who you are and what happens to you are the same. Saying it is OK to "just be" sounds a bit like hippie rhetoric, and the way Zen used to be contorted in those times.
Whether we like it or not, due to interdependence it is impossible to just "be", and we are always "doing" even if the doing is to do nothing.
