First, You don't get a licence of the enterprise edition. You pay them for giving you support. This is a nice added value of the software as indeed it's sometimes required to have an inside view.
BUT, nevertheless this is with all monitor tools I have have used. Don't know if you have experience with HP Openview but this tool is: - Not configurable that easy as other tools - its more expensive then using zenoss. Second, If you are not able to investigate some time to administer your monitor I would conclude to oursource this part since it's with all monitor software that you use. Most of the errors you describe are easily to solve, but would require to have the time to do so. Again, if you would have the enterprise edition you get support for this. All of them need tuning and continuously admin tasks. If you have ever used nagios you would know that this tool is a HELL to administrate. -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://community.zenoss.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=17345#17345 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
