Thanks, Paul. After you mentioned that I did some googling and found the same info in a Wikipedia article. I plan on going with the reman. My local shop can't get a new unit at this time, so a reman would be the best option with them. I'm hopeful that Subaru will help out - we'll see next week.

Now I gotta find a towing company to haul it back here...
