Rennies are indigestion sweets that you suck. Ingredients below. I
know they are available in the UK and Australia; about the US I don't
know - you would need to do a websearch in your own country. In the UK
they are available over the counter everywhere; it never occurred to me
to keep an eye open for them in Australia, but they are probably also
available most places. My DH got his stash at the airport using up his
loose change.

I suspect the electrolytes could be important.
Anyway, today DH is not doing so well, and I made him a drink to
hopefully stave off progress to full blown migraine.

With recent correspondence in mind, I added some ACV and honey.
He's had no improvement, and I have given him another dose of
bicarbonate of soda.

It has all reminded me of something else . . .
An old lady told me about 35 years ago that her daughter took Rennies
whenever a migraine threatened, and it was fixed forthwith.
I didn't do anything much with that information until some 15 years ago
when we were miles away from home (on the seafront at Seascale) and DH
was threatened with a migraine bad enough to have us stranded there.
Four of us in a small car, with nothing in the car but a tube of
Rennies. I remembered the old lady and her daughter, and DH took a
Rennies, how many I don't recall.
Much to my astonishment only a short while later - a ridiculously short
time later - he said he was better.

We continued our tour as if nothing had happened. Well, nothing had.

DH just told me that last time we visited the UK he spent his loose
change on as many packs of Rennies as he could, and he used to take
those whenever required as long as the packs lasted.

I just checked the ingredients of Rennies - Calcium Carbonate and
Magnesium Carbonate.

Calcium carbonate 680mg
Magnesium carbonate - heavy 80mg
Contains sucrose
Contains saccharin sodium (Pity about that).

I also checked the recipe for the Tri-Salts I mentioned earlier. I was
told about this by a Professor of Microbiology who also saw patients
with Chronic Fatigue and treated them with an oligoantigenic diet. He
said that if he ate certain things he would start to get a headache, but
the Tri-Salts cut that short.

http://www.safesolutionsinc.com/cancer.htm says: Many people find that
their body turns acidic during an allergic reaction or when they suffer
from metabolic acidosis. You can help correct this condition by taking
1/2 teaspoon of dissolved baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) before bed
each evening or as needed. Make sure that all the baking soda is
disolved before drinking. Many people prefer a /Tri-Salts/ mixture to
straight sodium bicarbonate to make the body become more alkaline.

*_Recipe for /Tri-Salts/_*
2 Parts Potassium Bicarbonate
3 Parts Sodium Bicarbonate
1 Parts Calcium Carbonate
Thoroughly mix all the ingredients together, (you may want to do this
outside or wear a dust mask as it can make you sneeze a lot).
Use one teaspoon of the above mixture to 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon powdered
vitamin C in a third of a tumbler full of filtered water to alleviate
allergic reactions such as headaches, nausea, chronic heartburn etc.
The sooner you take the /Tri-Salts/ after a suspect food (i.e.
heartburn), the better it works to lessen the symptoms.

(I saw another recipe for equal parts Potassium bicarbonate and sodium
bicarbonate, with a little citric acid for fizz. Sounds silly to me,
especially called Tri salts. However, whqlibdoc.who.int bulletin says
oral rehydration salts with trisodium citrate dihydrate does not react
as readily with glucose or sucrose as sodium bicarbonate, which forms
brown polymers of 5-hydroxymethylfurfuraldehyde when mixed as solids in
polyethylene packets in tropical climates.)

TRI-SALTS
Why are Tri-Salts (Cell Salts) Essential?
Minerals (such as Tri-Salts) are the foundation for enzyme
activity in the body and serve as catalysts in energy cycles
and functions, which is especially necessary when our
body system is already weakened. Tri-Salts aid in the
basic functioning of the cells, including water balance,
digestion, toxin removal, cell elasticity, oxygenation, nutrition,
mineral absorption, sodium/potassium balance, etc.
Harmonyline Tri-Salts contain a perfectly combined
ratio of elements that assist in the body absorption of water into the
cells, which in turn creates

electrolytes.
Electrolytes are an essential component in the
production of our body's energy resources.

Re: CSMagnets Migraines and Magnesium Bicarbonate

2009-12-13 Thread Rowena

DMSO might be good to get it in through the skin without a needle.

Also, do a websearch for the recipe for Magnesium Bicarbonate.
Or I could paste it below. It's not new, but just as well to make sure
one knows about it.

R

Magnesium Bicarbonate recipes (from Curatorial Care of Works of Art on Paper, Anne F. Clapp)

1. Made with proprietary soda water:

1 bottle of soda water (Canadian Club) 300 ml. or 10 1/2 fl.oz.

Powdered Magnesium Carbonate 6 gm. or 9 teaspoons

Put the magnesium carbonate in an empty bottle of slightly greater capacity
than the soda water bottle and one with a tightly fitting cap or cork.

Place both bottles in a refrigerator overnight or until thoroughly chilled.

The reason for keeping the materials cold is to increase the quantity of the
magnesium carbonate that will go into solution. As quickly as the operation can
be done, open the soda water bottle and pour the charged water into the
magnesium carbonate bottle. Cap firmly and agitate gently for a short period.
Return to the refrigerator. Keep the magnesium carbonate from settling for the
next half hour by repeating the periods of gentle agitation and return to the
refrigerator. Allow the excess magnesium to settle for several hours or
overnight. Siphon off the clear liquid. Keep firmly capped and cool.

2. Made with a soda water siphon:

The most convenient way to make magnesium bicarbonate water is with a standard,
strong walled, soda water siphon. It must be modified by cutting a generous
inch off the siphon tube so that its end will be clear of the sediment of
undissolved magnesium carbonate.

Distilled water or de-ionized water 300 ml or 10 1/2 fl.oz.

Powdered Magnesium Carbonate6 gms or 9 teaspoons

Put all ingredients and the siphon bottle in the refrigerator until they are thoroughly chilled.

As quickly as possible so that the temperatures will remain low, mix the water and magnesium carbonate, and funnel the mixture into the siphon bottle.

Discharge the carbon dioxide cartridge.

Return to the refrigerator and allow the undissolved magnesium to settle for a number of hours or overnight.

Siphon off the clear liquid.

Keep firmly capped and cool.

Erling Waller and Jackie Burgess' “Unique Water”Recipe:

It contains 120 mg of magnesium and 650 mg of bicarbonate per liter and
has a pH of 8.3.

Plain Milk of Magnesia (MoM) should be used in the recipe. The “active”
ingredient should only be magnesium hydroxide [Mg (OH)2], 400 mg per
teaspoon (5 ml), and the “inactive” ingredient should only be purified
water. 41.7% by weight of magnesium hydroxide is magnesium (Mg), so 5 ml
of MoM has 167 mg of Mg, and 1 tablespoon has 500 mg of Mg (1 tablespoon
= 15 ml).

To prepare the water follow these steps: 1. Chill completely to
refrigerator temperature a 1-liter bottle of fully carbonated water.
Carbonated waters such as /Canada Dry Seltzer/, which consist of only
water and carbon dioxide (CO2), are suitable. Club sodas such as
/Schweppes Club Soda /are also suitable; they are carbonated water with
a small amount of added sodium.

2. Shake well the bottle of MoM, then measure out as accurately as
possible 3 tablespoons (45 ml) and have it ready. The plastic measuring
cup that comes with the MoM is accurate and ideal for the purpose.

3. Remove the bottle of carbonated water from the refrigerator without
agitating it.

Open it slowly and carefully to minimize the loss of CO2. As soon as the
initial fizzing settles down, slowly add the pre-measured MoM. Promptly
replace the cap on the water bottle and shake it vigorously for 30
seconds or so, making the liquid cloudy.

After ½ hour or so the liquid will have cleared, and any un-dissolved
magnesium hydroxide will have settled to the bottom of the bottle. Again
shake the bottle vigorously for 30 seconds or so, making the liquid
cloudy again. When the liquid again clears all of the magnesium
hydroxide in the MoM should have reacted with all of the CO2 to become
dissolved (ionized) magnesium and bicarbonate. However, if a small
amount of un-dissolved magnesium hydroxide still remains in the bottom
of the bottle as a sediment it may be ignored. This 1 liter of
concentrated magnesium bicarbonate water will have approximately 1500 mg
of magnesium and approximately 7500 mg of bicarbonate. It should be kept
in the refrigerator. You may note that the sides of the bottle “cave in”
when the liquid clears. This is a sign that the reaction is complete.

4. To make 4 liters of magnesium bicarbonate drinking water with
approximately 125 mg of magnesium and approximately 625 mg of
bicarbonate per liter and a pH of approximately 8+ measure and transfer
1/3 liter of the concentrate (333 ml) into a4-liter container. Fill the
container with 3 2/3 liters of plain or purified water, as desired.

Magnesium dissolved in water (ionized) is considerably more bioavailable
than is magnesium in solid tablets or capsules.

This was from a site talking about Atrial Fibrillation.
Also a note for Australians below.

MagBicarb Atrial Fibrillation

Natural mineral waters with high concentrations of magnesium and
bicarbonate ions have long been prized for their health promoting
qualities. The famous Apollinaris water contains104 mg/L of magnesium,
but unfortunately is also fairly high in sodium and calcium. Mendocino
water contains 130 mg/L of magnesium, but again has fairly high calcium
and sodium levels. A more ideal water is Noah’s spring water bottled
from the Adobe Springs in California. Noah’s California Spring Water
contains 110 mg/L of magnesium, but only 3 mg/L of calcium and 5 mg/L of
sodium. It also contains 529 mg/L of bicarbonate ions and has a pH of 8.3.

Magnesium-rich mineral waters are easily absorbed and have many health
benefits due not only to their magnesium content, but also because of
their content of bicarbonate ions that help neutralize the carbonic acid
formed in the body during metabolic processes. Several studies have
shown that an increased intake of bicarbonate may help prevent muscle
wasting and bone loss[1-3]. A manufactured magnesium/bicarbonate water,
“Unique Water”, has recently been developed in Australia. It contains
120 mg of magnesium and 650 mg of bicarbonate per liter and has a pH of 8.3.

Erling Waller, a former afibber, and Jackie Burgess, both frequent
contributors to the Bulletin Board, collaborated to develop a recipe for
homemade magnesium/ bicarbonate water that, in its composition, is very
close to both Noah’s California Spring Water and Unique Water. The
recipe is based on the reaction of magnesium hydroxide (in milk of
magnesia) with plain carbonated water according to the formula Mg(OH)2 +
2CO2 --- Mg(HCO3)2.

Plain Milk of Magnesia (MoM) should be used in the recipe. The “active”
ingredient should only be magnesium hydroxide [Mg (OH)2], 400 mg per

Magnesium dissolved in water (ionized) is considerably more bioavailable
than is magnesium in solid tablets or capsules. About 50% of the
magnesium contained in magnesium/bicarbonate water is absorbed[4,5].
This is 12 times better than the absorption rate for magnesium oxide. So
drinking 1 liter of magnesium/bicarbonate water per day would correspond
to taking five 500 mg magnesium oxide tablets daily.

The alkaline magnesium/bicarbonate water should be consumed throughout
the day. It can be consumed with a meal, but not in such quantities that
it results in dilution of stomach acid. Anyone not in the habit of
drinking water should begin by consuming small daily amounts, and

 disturbances, cardiac
and neurological complications can
occur.
Electrolyte balance can be simply
maintained by taking Harmonyline
Tri-Salts.
Harmonyline™ Tri-Salts
Ingredients
Potassium Bicarbonate is used to regulate pH.
Potassium
is a mineral that is found naturally in foods and is necessary
for many normal functions of your body,
especially the beating of your heart.

Bicarbonate ions are crucial for regulating
blood pH.
The most common salt of the bicarbonate
ion is Sodium Bicarbonate and when
exposed to acid the bicarbonates release
carbon dioxide.
The bicarbonate/carbonate ionic system act as a buffer in the
blood and is a crucial component of the
acid/base system of the body (maintain-
ing homeostasis).
This helps maintain the
pH of the blood at a level needed for
tissues and enzymes to work adequately.
Sodium Bicarbonate also serves a use
in the digestive system.
It neutralizes the
exceedingly acidic pH of the stomach
after the stomach digests the food and
can also be used to control bacteria,
including bacterial infections.

Magnesium Carbonate neutralizes
or lowers stomach acid by raising the
stomach’s pH level. Reduced stomach acidity may result in an impaired
ability to digest and absorb certain nutrients, such as iron and the B
vitamins.

Magnesium carbonate assists the normal functioning of cells, nerves,
muscles, bones, and the heart.
Magnesium carbonate also contains the ingredient alginic acid.
Alginic acid forms a protective foam that sits on top of the stomach
contents.

This foam helps to prevent acid irritation to the esophagus (the tube
connecting your mouth to your stomach).

Electrolytes (salts) are critical to maintaining the integrity of the body’s
cellular structure.
Cells use a considerable amount of energy to maintain
a proper pH environment.
Whenever a deficiency of electrolytes occurs, cells start to lose their
ion equilibrium,

resulting in significant deterioration and damage.
Even slightly acidic conditions cause tissues and organs to be-
come inflamed, eventually leading to chronic disease.
When inflammatory conditions are acute, immediate steps
need to be taken to relieve the inflammation and its associated pain.

Tri-Salts helps with:
• High Acid/Phlegm
• Exhaustion Tiredness
• SAD
• Obesity
• Depression Irritability
• Adrenal Fatigue
• Mood Swings
• Muscle Cramps
• Osteoporosis
• Dehydration/Fluid Retention

• Skin Elasticity/Dry Skin
• Acid Reflux/Ulcers
• Heartburn Acid Indigestion
• Heart Irregularities
• Memory Problems
• Headaches
• Cystitis

Product Technical Report

Key reasons to use Tri-Salts:
• Helps maintain optimum pH level in the body,
preventing acidic and sick cellular states in the body
• Alkalizing mineral blend contributes to the prevention
of chronic and degenerative diseases
• Increase body’s electrolytes, which combats heart
disease, cancer, etc.
• Acts on the cellular level of your whole metabo-lism
• Hydrates by stabilizing the acid-base balance in
the body

Re: CSHelp wanted with embedded stone in medullary sponge kidney

2009-12-03 Thread Rowena

Nenah or V, do you know of coloured light helping this sort of thing?

Some years ago I read of a Spanish product where a vial of liquid is
placed unopened in a glass of water and the next day (I think it was)
the water is drunk, having been altered by the liquid in the vial. I
can't at the moment recall its name, though I am sure I would have kept
the information in a Word document. It was used for kidney stones and a
variety of other problems.

I'll keep looking, but in the meantime if anyone remembers the product,
they may pipe up - Nenah, it was on the Rife group, wonder if you would
remember that?

The other thing is that frequency therapy such as that on
www.heal-me.com.au Frex could be useful.

Rowena

Here are some notes I kept, though your description sounds like
something unusual - what do they say the stone is composed of?

Kidney Stones
I had a CT scan not too long ago and they found that I have a 5 mm
kidney stone in my left kidney. I have never had one before and don't
know what to expect.
One doctor says it's big and another doctor said it isn't big at all.
??? Which one do I believe and why won't they do anything about it? Is
it something I should worry about? Thank you, -Sandy

I have read that hydrangea taken in large doses (6 capsules, 3 times
daily) can help to dissolve calcium deposits in the body...bone spurs,
stones, etc. I also know that drinking soda pop can cause stones. The
acidity of the pop leaches calcium from bones to the blood stream to
balance the pH of the pop. That excess calcium can then deposit in the
kidneys causing stones. So, if you are a pop drinker, I would stop that
immediately (diet pop included), but I would check on the dosages of the
hydrangea with someone else here on the forum. -Andrew

Andrew is correct. I have personally worked with quite a few kidney
stone cases. They're really easy to get rid of. . . . Kidney Stones Recipe

Sure fired remedy:
6 JP-X 4 times daily 4 Hydrangea 6 times daily 2 Marshmallow 6 times daily
Drink lots of pure water with fresh lemon squeezed in it.
You start getting some relief right away, takes about a week for the
kidney soreness to go away.
Be prepared for your doctor to either tell you it disappeared
spontaneously or is hiding. . . . But, I assure you -- it will be
GONE!!! If you are not having pain yet -- be glad. Get rid of it before
you do feel it.
Prevention is often to drink 1/2 gal - 1 gal water throughout the day
and cutting out coffee and soft drinks, especially cola's. Many people
need more Magnesium Complex daily and also B-Complex and B-6. -Georgiana

Hi, Hydrangea-Hydrangea-Hydrangea My husband has ended up in the ER
twice with intense pain from Kidney stones. By the time they got done
with all of the test, it had moved so I took him home and put him on
hydrangea and he never had a problem for a couple of years. The next
time, he was told that he would have to have surgery because it was too
far down and the doctor said the hydrangea wouldn't dissolve it but
early Christmas morning out it came. I had put him on hydrangea anyway.
Needless to say, several men at his work have been steady customers for
me for hydrangea. -Maxine

Q: I have a patient who has an 8 mm kidney stone in the right kidney
which is too large to pass down the ureter. She has occasional blood in
the urine. The stone was found by x-ray and IVP testing. The urologist
wants to do lithotripsy (sound wave treatment). He says she may have to
have a stint placed to pass the stone fragments after lithotripsy. I
have her on the kidney stone formula listed in FAQ (hydrangea,
marshmallow, JP-X). Has anyone used this formula or something else like
it and DOES IT WORK? How long does it take to work? Does it dissolve the
stone or break it apart into smaller fragments? Will she experience any
symptoms? Does anyone know if there are long term side effects to
lithotripsy and/or stent placement? Thank you very much for your help.

Yes I have had customers use this program, one man took the herbs with
1/4 lemon juice every two hours and rubbed Juniper Oil in a carrier oil
over his kidney area on back and on his feet. He passed a small smooth
stone in less than 24 hours. He passed smaller sand size that the
Hydrangea broke off too. He was in some pain but he said is was less
painful than it was 20 years when he did not have the herbs. -Jan Sims

I just sent this to a friend of mine. Several programs you can do to
pass the stones. Hydrangea 12 capsules daily - they will work on
dissolving the stones. Marshmallow 4 every hour coats the stones. Drinks
lots of fresh squeezed lemon in water.

Interesting, as I had just heard from a friend with MS who says I had

Subject: CSQuartz device (battery, wire and quartz crystals)

This was posted on the Cancercured group by an originally sceptical
friend of the designers.

Many of us are familiar with the basic unit as Godzilla (
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/microelectricitygermkiller/), but this
has quartz crystals at the business end and slightly different
instructions for use. The designers wish for anonymity but encourage
it to be shared freely around the world.

One might dub it Quartzilla. Rowena

Simple homemade quartz device cures Hepatitis C, Cancer, Herpes,
H1N1, AIDS, etc

I was asked by friends to share this easy to build device with
everyone. I personally know two people who used only this device to
cure incurable diseases. Though the concept is similar to a
zapper, but this can be built in minutes by just about anyone, and
the users claim it is MORE effective.

One cured person had his doctor confirm that the Hepatitis C he had
for 20 years had vanished from his body. He has been free of it for
5 years now. Another cured man tried this for two weeks and his
doctor noticed that his main terminal cancer tumor reduced in size
by 39% and the satellite tumors had completely disappeared. Shortly
thereafter, to the astonishment of his doctors, all the cancer
disappeared.

This system sounds too simple to work, but it sure seems too and is
well worth a try. To build it, you only need the following:

-One six-volt battery (I was told that 6 volts is the target
voltage, and not 9.)

-Two pieces of wire 3 feet long. This could be speaker wire, etc.
-Two pieces of quartz (more on this later, but in general, ANY 2
quartz rocks)

-Optional alligator clips to attach to the batter, but not necessary.

Basic Assembly and use:

-Each wire is stripped about an inch on each end.

-Fasten one end of one wire to one of the quartz rocks. The important
thing here is to make sure that the stripped portion of the wire is
touching the quartz. This could be done with epoxy glue, super glue,
silicone, perhaps even tape, or a metal strap. Just bear in mind
that you need a surface of the quartz stone exposed to later be in
contact with your body.

-Now you have two wires with one quartz stone fastened to each wire.

-Attach the free end other end of one wire to one of the battery
terminals.

-Attach the free end of the other wire to the other batter terminal.

-Now you have one wire with one quartz stone on each battery terminal.

-Attach the quartz stone that is wired to the POSITIVE terminal of
the battery to your body with tape. (Normally, this would be the part
of your body that is afflicted with disease; HOWEVER, in the case of
flu viruses, aids, etc., you would try to put this end either on
your right shoulder or your right leg or foot.)

-The other quartz crystal is tapped by one of your fingers randomly
and rapidly for one hour every day. (Either hand, or farthest away
from the other quartz that is attached to your body.)

Additional Information:

-In the case of terminal diseases, after you are healed, you may
have to put yourself on a maintenance plan of doing this 3 times a
week to keep yourself healthy.

-Technical types like me would be tempted to fasten a timer to this
like the zapper has so that we would not have to tap the stone; I
have been advised that this will not work as well.

-A variation of this used is to tape both stones to your body, with
the positive wired quartz closest to the afflicted area and the other
farthest away on the body. Then leave the stones taped on for as
long as you want. No tapping in this case. (One hepatitis victim
claims a cure after doing this for one day)

-For the selection of quartz; I was told that ANY quartz will work
(white, rose, smoke, crystal, etc.). I was also advised

Re: CSQuartz device (battery, wire and quartz crystals)

I am not sure what information you are seeking that is not down in the
instructions.

If it is the general concept, perhaps it would help to look at

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/microelectricitygermkiller/
and see pictures of the Godzilla (6v battery and wire) being assembled.

This is like that, but with quartz at the business end.

Maybe after perusing the information there these instructions will seem clearer.

The quartz is at one end of a piece of wire and the battery at the other end.
There are two pieces of wire.
Both are attached to the terminals of the 6v battery (the big blocky kind).
One piece of quartz is put on the skin, and the other piece of quartz is tapped
with the finger.
Alternatively, you can have both pieces of quartz on the skin.
Is this the information you needed?
It kills germs, basically.

in tune could pick up a couple rocks that feel right. They could be
broken with a hammer to be flat, to fit your body better, BUT, I was
warned to tell people not to worry that much about it. Don't waste
money on over prices quartz crystals, just try to pick up a couple
rocks for free, or if you are in a city, buy them cheap.

-The general theory here is similar to a zapper circuit and it's
intent. In this case, the quartz takes care of all the oscillations of
frequencies on it's own with no additional electrical circuits
necessary, eliminating the viruses, causes, etc. The rapid tapping is
optional, but said to bring about the desired effect much faster.

-This should work regardless of the person's skepticism, but, if
possible, the subject's focus on a positive effect is always good
advice.

Re: CS(LL) I know lung cancer has been on the list

2009-11-02 Thread Rowena

For what it is worth, this was just posted on the cancercured list:

has anyone heard of any success stories taking black salve internally.
wondering what the long term use on the stomach might possibly have. I found
this information on a past blog entry from a few years back.
INTERNAL USE

What is reported here is the result of informal trial and error on the
part of many non-professional folks intent on healing themselves or their
animals. What follows has been gleaned from letters and interviews with
users
over 30 years, which means it is based on experience but is by no means
complete. Internal cancers of all known body zones have dissolved under the
onslaught of Black Salve. Black Salve hunts down and kills abnormal tissue
wherever it is. The following are known examples:

.Colon cancer and uterine cancer have been healed with not only the internal
dosing described below, but by also using enemas or
douche, of one quart water, to which was added one full dried pea volume
of salve.

.Brain cancer should be monitored by a professional because of the swelling
that will occur. It may have to be relieved by a surgical
hole being placed in th skull to relieve the pressure.

.Breast cancer has been healed with internal and external applications.

.Emphysema, AIDS and viruses also seem to come under subjection to Black
Salve.

SPECIFIC DIRECTIONS

For the first 20 days, use a non-metal utensil to lift out enough salve
to make a ball HALF the size of a dried pea. Pack the half pea dose into a
gelatin capsule and swallow it after you have eaten a meal! It is somewhat
acidic having a pH like vinegar and could make you nauseated if you take on
an empty stomach. It is best to use wood or plastic utensils when handling
it. For 20 days, take this dose each morning after breakfast and each
evening
after dinner. This means take Black Salve for 20 days, twice a day, always
on
a full stomach.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT DURING THE FIRST 20 DAYS?

Lymphomas, such as appear on the neck or arm, may change from the
texture
of a hard lump to rather soft, pliable, even squishy. During the first 20
days you may continuously run a low fever. Sweat, urine and feces may take
on
offensive odor and be darker than usual. At the 20 day mark, it is wise to
have a competent physician take a biopsy, or test your cancer for
malignancy.
For many, but not all people, the test reveals that the cancerous tissue is
dead, but present.
After the first 20 days, during which the salve has built a great deal
of
zinc into your system, it is prudent to take a complete five day break from
the salve. During these five days, you may wish to double you doses of
vitamins and minerals. This helps balance the system. If you think the
illness or growth may still be somewhat present, you may take the salve for
a
second 20 day period, just as directed above. If needed, up to four can be
done. After you have completed the internal use, supplement you diet with
vitamins and minerals, fresh clean filtered water, organic veggies and
fruit.
This helps the healing and the rebuilding of your health! Avoid caffeine and
alcohol. Take extra vitamin C!

WARNING WARNING WARNING WARNING

BLACK SALVE CONTAINS HERBS THAT ARE LISTED AS POISONOUS BY THE FDA. IT ALSO
CONTAINS ZINC CHLORIDE, WHICH IS VERY CAUSTIC. DO NOT GET IN YOUR EYES. KEEP
OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. IF ACCIDENTAL CONSUMPTION OCCURS, GIVE ACTIVATED
CHARCOAL ORALLY IN POWDER FORM MIXED WITH WATER AND SLOWLY DRINK AS NEEDED.
AVOID ANY POSSIBLE ACCIDENTS. USE EXTREME CAUTION!

Hi Lois. With all the medical things you find, you may be able to

, cretinism, and Iodine deficiency disorders related to its role
in thyroidal physiology. Supplementation was considered adequate if such
amount prevented cretinism, simple goiter and symptoms of
hypothyroidism. The assumption that the only role of Iodine as an
essential element is in its essentiality for the synthesis of T3 and T4,
became a dogma. With the advent of sensitive assays, Thyroid Stimulating
Hormones (TSH) was promoted to queen of tests for thyroid functions and
Iodine was forgotten altogether as irrelevant to the point where most
endocrinologists and other medical practitioners do not request a single
test for urine Iodine concentration, during their whole medical career.

Did you know it is a fact that in both men and women Iodine is stored in
our thyroids and our breasts. But, if we drink sodas or coffee. . . .
these will wash away the iodine and use this space for bromides,
chlorine and fluoride. It is like taking gold our of your vault and
replacing it with tokens.

Re: CSfrozen shoulder

2009-10-21 Thread Rowena
Agreed about the DMSO. It would be a more efficient and effective way
of doing what I did for frozen shoulder some 15 or 17 years ago now. I
saw a specialist and he made an appt for me to have an injection. That
I did NOT want.

I read up all I could - no internet then - about various herbs, and
mixed up some ointment with various essential oils. Aromatherapy, I
suppose. If in doubt, put a few drops in. Probably in comfrey
ointment. Maybe emu oil, too.

I put it on faithfully morning and night, and it improved. Sorry, I
forget what the ingredients were, but they must have been fairly easy to
look up.

I cancelled the appointment and went back when another appointment was
due. The specialist put me through the tests and gave me a percentage
of the improvement. He asked what I had been doing, and I told him. I
told him the ingredients, and he said that as there was more than one,
we wouldn't know what had done the trick.

I doubt whether he tried it on any of his other patients, anyway. But I
didn't need that injection any more.

Rowena

Well, the very first thing I'd use is DMSO.

This page has downloads:

Probably a professional with the Scenar would be a good option to start

There is a link to therapists on the site somewhere, too.

One thing that is also possible is to rent a unit.
http://www.enar.com.au/rentbuy.html Of course, they hope you will buy
one once you have tried it - but at least you CAN try it.
Before buying an ENAR outright for themselves some people like to try
out a device for a time. You may rent a brand new device for one month.
Should you wish to then buy it, your first month’s rental can become a
deposit against the purchase price.

Re: CSSchizophrenia - mold

2009-09-08 Thread Rowena
Acting on a hunch triggered by moldy smell in bedroom of relative I
spoke of earlier, I searched on schizophrenia and mold:

http://www.ericsons.net/329/more-mold--autism---great-plains-tests

Shaw reports that the organic acid test has been used to find underlying
causes in psychosis, schizophrenia, depression, autism, attention
deficit disorder, and a host of physical ailments. “A high percentage of
people have benefited,” he says, “because they pinpoint the physical
basis of the disease.”

The organic acid test is commonly ordered to detect the presence of
Candida (yeast) overgrowth which can cause a broad spectrum of mental
disorders including depression and schizophrenia.

“I usually recommend allergy tests for psychosis as well,” says Shaw.
“Mold, for example, can trigger a psychotic reaction in some people. One
doctor videoed a female patient who had to be restrained by three people
after being exposed to a single drop of mold extract.”

In cases of psychosis or schizophrenia, Shaw recommends a standard
physical examination and tests to check for underlying medical causes,
such as a Chem-25 blood test, urinalysis, thyroid test, and a 5-hour
glucose tolerance test. If nothing significant shows, he recommends the
organic acid urine test, a comprehensive food allergy IGG blood test,
comprehensive inhalant allergy panel, comprehensive stool analysis,
amino acid test, essential fatty acid test, metals hair test and an
opiates peptide urine test. These tests are unique. Psychotics commonly
poorly digest wheat or milk which can result in the production of opiate
(as in opium) peptides (compounds formed from amino acids). All three
tests are available at Great Plains Lab.

“We don’t have any hard numbers,” says Shaw, “but I’d say that on 50% of
individuals with psychosis you would find significant abnormalities in
these areas [of the tests] and they would experience benefit.”

The costs of the tests are: Organic acid – $220; Comprehensive food
allergy – $200; Opiate peptides – $100, amino acid test $200, Metals
Hair Analysis $125 Inhalant Allergy Panel $165, Comprehensive Stool
Analysis $305, and Essential Fatty Acids $175 They are covered by many
insurance policies.

has a nauseous odor and a disagreeable taste. Thus it is found in
cereals, whole grain breads, wines and honey. Can be detoxified by
adding vitamin C but takes at least 10 minutes. Warm honey and add 1/8
tsp. per cup. Stir.

Contributes to alcoholism and causes seizures, schizophrenia, To help
clear ergot from the body take glutamine (500 mg. ), a B-50 complex and
Vit. B3 (niacinamide -500 mg) with each meal. Add Vitamin C to nuts,

Here is a recipe for eradicating aflatoxins in food items:

Simply sprinkling vitamin C over roasted nuts is not effective because

add about 1/4 tsp. vitamin C powder (for a pint of nuts) and mix. Let
stand for 5 minutes. The water penetrates the nuts, taking the vitamin C
with it and detoxifies them. Pour off the water and dry the nuts in the
oven at low heat. (Don't burn them or you'll be making benzopyrene!).

‘All diseases begin in the gut’ Hippocrates 460-370BC

Mental illness starts not in the Brain but the Gut. Do you have
digestive problems like colic, bloating, flatulence, diarrhoea,
constipation, and malnourishment {are you very skinny and find it
difficult to put on weight?}, and do you have a white/yellow-coating on
your tongue? Do you suffer from frequent headaches, mood swings,
depression, fatigue, and other symptoms related to ‘candida overgrowth?’

Read 'Gut And Psychology Syndrome' By. Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride MD,
NMedSci{neurology}, MMedSci{nutrition}
This doctor, who has a clinic in Cambridge for treating mental illnesses
like Autism, Dyspraxia, Dyslexia, ADD/ADHD, Depression, Schizophrenia,
and Bipolar Disorder. Her son suffered from Autism, she found the cure
and the root cause, and believes that all mental illness can be cured,
that underlying these seemingly diverse labels, is a unified theory
behind all mental illness, manifesting differently due to the type of
psychological trauma, childhood experiences, personality and even
influenced by activated genes. Although mental illness is not genetic,
as you may have been told...

I found that my bipolar disorder was caused or worsened by Candida
overgrowth or Candida Related Complex. You should consult a Naturopathic
Doctor {not a homeopath, they're different}, a Nutritionist that has
treated Schizophrenia before, and an orthomolecular medicine doctor.

Candida thrive on sugar, so Cut out all sugar, unstable/imbalanced blood
sugar levels can cause depression and hyperactivity, replace table sugar
with Xylitol {much more healthier and beneficial and tastes the same in
the same portions! you wont notice too much of a difference, don’t go
near NutraSweet or Aspartame, monosodium glutamate MSG - avoid like the
plague}. Cut out stimulants like caffeine/coffee, and soda soft drinks.

Look into Kefir Making, this home-made free probiotic drink in itself
will bring you much improvement in your mental health and well being,
all you need is Kefir Grains to get started, google ‘Kefir Making’ and

Recent studies have shown that Prozac {a popular antidepressant} has
anti-fungal/candida properties, and inhibits its growth, this is due to
Serotonin. Further, Sodium Valporate {used as a mood stabiliser} has
been shown to stop the growth of harmful pathogenic microorganisms/worms

mental illness is due to problems in the gut or intestinal dysbiosis.

The effects of yeast overgrowth and Autism, ADD, ADHD,
Tourette's, headaches, fatigue, depression and schizophrenia

Bruce Semon, M.D., Ph.D.

The yeast /Candida albicans/ affects the brain directly by producing
toxic chemicals that slow down the brain. I call this the 'toxic
chemical slowdown.'

To better understand, know that the yeast /Candida albicans/ is a normal
resident inside of our intestinal tract. This yeast can also be found at
times in the mouth and in the birth canal. Sometimes this yeast
overgrows and the doctor recognizes this overgrowth of yeast as a yeast
infection of the birth canal or in the mouth, where this infection is
commonly called thrush.

Bacteria are also resident inside the intestinal tract, sharing space
with the yeast. After the use of antibiotics the yeast grow to fill in
the space left by the removal of the bacteria. Even after the
antibiotics have been stopped, the yeast continue to grow at a higher
level.

Pregnancy and the use of birth control pills can also make yeast grow more.

Yeast make a number of chemical compounds which are then picked up and
absorbed into the body. These compounds are quite toxic to the nervous
system. These compounds include toxic alcohols and aldehydes, as well as
the powerful nervous system poison hydrogen sulfide (editor's note: this
is a totally different substance than hyrodgen sulfate). Alcohols
depress the nervous system and at least some aldehydes are anesthetic
agents, which of course put the brain to sleep. These chemicals slow the
brain down so that the brain no longer works correctly. These chemicals
should be cleared by the liver so that these chemicals never reach the
brain.

However in some people, these chemicals are apparently not cleared,
reach the brain, and cause mental symptoms. If such chemicals start to
act early in life, the result is autism, an illness in which the brain
functions do not develop properly.

If such compounds start to act later, Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity
Disorder (ADHD) may result. Later in life, depression and schizophrenia
may occur. These chemical compounds are toxic to humans and can cause
such problems as headaches, fatigue and depression. Pregnancy and the
use of birth control pills can also make yeast grow more. From the
intestinal tract, /Candida albicans/ can release immunosuppressive
factors, which again enable it to grow at a higher level. These
immunosuppressive factors will circulate and prevent the body's immune
system from responding to and clearing yeast at other sites, such as the
birth canal. So even after an anti-fungal creme is applied to a yeast
infection, the yeast which remain can grow back because the body's
immune response to such yeast is suppressed by factors released by
/Candida/ in the intestinal tract. As long as the intestinal yeast is
present and is making and releasing immunosuppressive factors, the
body's immune system will have a difficult time clearing yeast from that
area of the body. To clear yeast from that area, the yeast in the
intestinal tract need to be cleared first.

I've heard good things about enzymes from another FM friend.

For myself, I have noticed that since starting Magnascent, all pains
have decreased and I have a lot more energy. (Currently helping son move
house; recently returned from overseas trip involving constant walking
and moving every 2 or 3 days etc etc) Compared to a year ago - big
difference.

Re ACV - in my 20s and 30s used to find that taking ACV would remove the
pain in my knees that developed when I drank too much tea! I still
believe in it, but in my enthusiasm I made my honey and CV drink too
strong, and developed an aversion to the smell, and although I always
have a bottle in the house, it tends to last a long time.

I've been reading similar stuff but this time it is

URGENT ACTION ALERT!
The Deadline to Stop the EPA from Eliminating Access to Colloidal
Silver is 3 Days Away!
Big Pharma Backed Activist Groups Have Used the Public Comment Extension
Period to Flood the EPA with Thousands of Comments and Make False Claims
about a Major New Study

by Tony Isaacs [Group owner, oleanders...@yahoogroups.com]

Only three days are left to prevent the EPA from regulating colloidal
silver as a pesticide - a petition that has been exposed as a Big Pharma
effort to use environmental and other activist groups to help eliminate
competition from a substance that the EPA itself has tested to be safe
in the past and which millions of Americans use as a supplement instead
of the expensive, side effect laden and often less effective antibiotic
drugs that generate literally billions of dollars in profits each year
for pharmaceutical companies.

Though the efforts to regulate silver appear to come from activist
groups, recent investigations have found that the large majority of the
groups routinely receive funding from pharmaceutical companies and they
are pulling out all the stops to take colloidal silver and other
nano-silver products off the market, including massive email and regular
mail campaigns to their members, thousands of comments generated by
automated comment forms on their websites and publishing a misleading
report in the closing days of public comment which they falsely claim is
proof of silver causing harm to humans.

Many may have thought that the initial efforts to further erode our
health freedom and take yet another supplement away from the public were
thwarted by an outpouring of public comments to the EPA against the
petition. As you will see in the story that follows, such thinking
was premature and the reality is that while many of us have been lulled
to sleep, the Big Pharma backed activist groups have regained the upper
hand by redoubling their efforts after the initial deadline was
extended. Now, only scant days remain to again take action and
reverse the tide or very likely see access to colloidal silver taken
away.

After the initial tide of public comments turned against the thousands
of comments solicited by the activist groups, the original deadline for
comments was extended from January 20th to this Friday, March 20th.
In the interim, the well orchestrated campaign redoubled their efforts
and they have dumped several thousands of the fill-in-the-blanks form
letters and other comments on the EPA sight. They have also published a
report from a so-called major study in China which actually proved to be
anything but a major study and which actually proved that colloidal
silver prevents the deadly E. coli bacteria from multiplying, exactly
what colloidal silver, which has been found to be effective against
virtually all pathogens, actually does. NO human cells were even used
in the study.

As Spencer Jones reports at the Colloidal Silver Secrets blogspot:
First they state, Yet another major study on nano-silver toxicity has
been published during the comment period.

What's wrong with that statement? First of all, the study they are
referencing is hardly what you could call a major study. It is in fact
a very small study conducted in the People's Republic of China (yes, Red
China, home of the melamine scandal and tainted toothpaste scare) by a
little known group calling themselves the Bio-X Life Science Research
Center.
Interestingly, the Bio-X Life Science Research Center admit on their own
web site that they are operating in association with two major drug
companies, AstraZeneca International and Roche.

Who are These 2 Big Drug Companies?

Roche (aka Hoffman-LaRoche) is a huge, well-known multi-national drug
company which makes Bactrim, Rocephin, Lariam, Tamiflu, Invirase and
numerous other antibiotic and antiviral drugs for the treatment of
infectious diseases.

AstraZeneca, another huge, multi-national drug company, state right on
their web site that they too are focusing a large part of their business
model on developing and marketing infection-fighting antibiotic and
anti-viral drugs and vaccines. In fact, they state, We aim to build a
leading franchise in the treatment of infectious diseases by increasing
the sales of the marketed brands Synagis, Merrem and Flumist and
bringing new products to market by exploiting our structural and
genomic-based discovery technologies and our antibody platforms.

In other words, the group behind the study supposedly demonstrating that
nano-silver is harmful is, in reality, in bed with two of the largest
drug companies on the face of the earth, both of which are major players
in the antibiotic drug, anti-viral drug and vaccine markets.

These are the among the very same drug companies that hate colloidal
silver and other silver-based products the most, and have the most to
lose if silver ever becomes a major resource in products designed

Helicobacter pylori is highly susceptible to bismuth, a heavy metal with
antimicrobial activity linked to its effect on bacterial iron uptake. Three
strains of H. pylori were analyzed for indicators of iron limitation
following exposure to the MIC of colloidal bismuth subcitrate (MICCBS).
Similar morphologic and outer membrane changes were observed following
growth in iron-limiting medium and at the MICCBS that inhibited the growth
of all three strains. These changes, which were also observed for
iron-limited bacteria, were alleviated by the addition of iron to the
cultures. H. pylori ATP levels, reduced in iron-limiting medium, were below
the limits of detection in two of the three strains following exposure to
bismuth. The addition of iron partially restored bacterial ATP levels in
these two strains, although not to normal concentrations. In contrast,
exposure of the same strains to the MICCBS failed to deplete intracellular
levels of iron, which were significantly reduced by culturing in
iron-limiting medium. Thus, the antimicrobial effect of bismuth and of iron
limitation on H. pylori may be similar. However, the respective mechanisms
of intracellular action would appear to be mediated by different pathways
within the cell.

At the same time I was successfully experimentally treating patients who had
suffered with life threatening ulcer disease for years. Some of my patients
had postponed surgery which became unnecessary after a simple 2 week course
of antibiotics and bismuth. I had developed my hypothesis that these
bacteria were the cause of peptic ulcers and a significant risk for stomach
cancer. If I was right, then treatment for ulcer disease would be
revolutionized. It would be simple, cheap and it would be a cure. It seemed
to me that for the sake of patients this research had to be fast tracked.
The sense of urgency and frustration with the medical community was partly
due to my disposition and age. However, the primary reason was a practical
one. I was driven to get this theory proven quickly to provide curative
treatment for the millions of people suffering with ulcers around the world.
Becoming increasingly frustrated with the negative response to my work I
realized I had to have an animal model and decided to use myself. Much has
been written about the episode and I certainly had no idea it would become
as important as it has. I didn't actually expect to become as ill as I did.
I didn't discuss it with the ethics committee at the hospital.

Interesting, Day.

I pop up with this little story every now and then.

I suppose it's a Helicobacter pylori story - I used to work for the Prof who
was head of department in Royal Perth where they did the original work on
H.pylori. The bismuth stuff was involved in some trials.

I happened to read The Forty-Nine Steps (John Buchan) while I was there, in
which an American character who suffers an ulcer is always sucking bismuth
tablets. By the end of the story he is free of his ulcer.

I mentioned this to the Prof, and he was quite tickled by the circumstance.
(They already had the cure half a century before . . . )

http://www.bipolarodyssey.com/infections.htm Thorazine inhibits candida
species. (Yeast infections are implicated in autism, leaky gut, psychosis.)
Calmodulin activity has been identified in retroviruses. This is
particularly important because as stated in the book, retroviruses are now
implicated in schizophrenia. Like Lyme disease, Toxoplasma gondii is more
prevalent in psychiatric patients than the general population. Further,
drugs used in the treatment of schizophrenia and bipolar disorder inhibit
the replication of Toxoplasma gondii. We tested 12 neuroleptic compounds
and found that of these, the antipsychotic haloperidol and the mood
stabilizer valproic acid most effectively inhibit Toxoplasma growth in
vitro. Several medications used to treat schizophrenia and bipolar disorder
have the ability to inhibit the in vitro replication of T.
gondii.Intravenous calcium replacement can cause mania; calcium
supplementation can increase mania; calcium channels blockers reduce mania.
An errant enzyme linked to bipolar disorder, in the brain's prefrontal
cortex, impairs cognition under stress, an animal study shows. The disturbed
thinking, impaired judgment, impulsivity, and distractibility seen in mania,
a destructive phase of bipolar disorder, may be traceable to over activity
of protein kinase C (PKC) ...
The above suggests that it may be necessary to conceptualize bipolar
disorder not as a monolithic psychiatric disorder, but as a collection of
heterogeneous biological disorders that can be individually identified and
treated. Infection-mediated-excessive PKC may be one such disorder. ... The
above description does not do justice to the complexity of processes
involved. It describes only one process involving a biomarker of mania,
excessive PKC. While PKC is a major player, there is no single explanation
for the mechanisms of mania. In fact, there are many up and down regulated
proteins in the brains of those who have bipolar disorder, suggesting that
no single explanation is sufficient to account for manic symptoms.

For its part, the parasite Toxoplasma gondii, which can be found in
undercooked meat and cat feces, can lead to full-blown psychotic episodes.
Some studies suggest that the parasite stimulates the production of a
chemical similar to LSD, producing hallucinations and psychosis. Even when
the parasite lies dormant in muscle and brain tissue, it can affect
attention span and reaction time in otherwise healthy people. Few
children avoid coming down with a streptococcus infection, also known as
strep. Scientists now think that one in 1,000 strep sufferers also develops
abrupt-onset obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) in a matter of weeks. Strep
bacteria trigger OCD by igniting an overzealous response from the immune
system, which attacks certain types of brain cells, causing inflammation.
Symptoms generally die down after a few months but can flare up again,
especially if theres another bout of strep, says Susan Swedo, a
childhood-disease expert at the National Institutes of Health. The most
effective treatment, still experimental, is to filter out the misbehaving
antibodies from the blood. Best is to treat strep early on.
The specter of a depression germ or contagious obsessive-compulsive
disorder is unnerving, but it also opens up many more treatment
options antibiotics, vaccines, checking for ticks. Geneticists believe that
diseases may trigger the onset of inherited mental illnesses by activating
key genes. Avoiding and treating infection may be just as important as the
genes you inherit, and a whole lot easier to do something about.

In lieu of these researches, the government of USA is planning to ban the

In fact, the environmental bureaucrats claim that silver is so effective, if
too much of it is released back into the environment, it could harm our
fragile eco-system by wiping out ecologically important bacteria.
Therefore, the use of silver in products, as well as the use of
silver-producing devices, must now be regulated! .. What's more, Big
Business is applying silver to so many new products; the bureaucrats can't
keep up with it. So, as you'll see in a moment, they now want to restrict
and control any product that uses silver as an antimicrobial agent, as well
as any product that produces silver for use as an antimicrobial agent! ..
According to medical journalist Sepp Hasslberger: More than a year ago, a
little noticed article reported a study that found silver nano-particles, as
found in silver colloids, were able to kill HIV, in addition to a broad
spectrum of viral bugs. Now, the US health authorities seem to have found a
way to prevent this breakthrough from making it into broad public use.The
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is now selectively targeting
nano-silver as an environmental pollutant, while practically ignoring
pharmaceuticals and toxic chemical pesticides. Indeed, the EPA is using
emerging regulations on the health effects of nano-particles to selectively
target colloidal silver products as pesticides. ... Silver was brought
under close EPA scrutiny when washing machine manufacturers began making
models that sprayed tiny silver particles onto the clothes as an
antibacterial agent. Last year, the EPA decided that the machines should be
regulated under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act.
Under these regulations, any silver product that claims it has antibacterial
properties must prove the product is safe to be released into the
environment. ... As Ralph Fucetola, an attorney for the natural health
industry who is known nationally as the Vitamin Lawyer, has pointed out,
The EPA will require proof of the safety of silver in the environment only
if the companies make germ-killing claims. They are only concerned about
safety if the public is being given information about silver's germ-killing
benefits. ... As noted health journalist Mike Adams of NaturalNews.com
points out, This is not a regulation designed to protect the environment
from nanotechnology; it's a stealth ploy that selectively attempts to remove
colloidal silver from the marketplace. ... What's more, the document goes
on to say that manufacturers and importers of such equipment (i.e., silver
or copper ion-producing electronic devices) have until no later than March
23, 2009 to register with the EPA, submit their documentation and then wait
until the EPA acts upon their application. ... In a recent article
published in Science Daily, titled FDA Sees Nanotech Challenges In Every
Product Category It Regulates, the FDA's Emerging Nanotechnologies Director
David Rejeski stated, Today, FDA took a major step forward in fulfilling
its responsibilities for nanotechnology oversight. [FDA intends to] move
towards ensuring the benefits of nanotechnology are realized without undue
risk. Since the nano-material of choice among new product manufacturers is
silver (according to Science Daily, silver now appears in over 139 brand new
nano-tech products, far outstripping the use of other nano-materials such as
carbon, gold or silica) it is not a difficult stretch to see where the FDA
intends to go with this. ... the International Center for Technology
Assessment, has filed legal briefs against the EPA in an effort to force
them to clamp down faster on silver-based products, and enforce the new
regulations which classify silver and the machines that produce it as

CSBoron and Big Pharma

2008-12-28 Thread Rowena
Boron - Big Pharma Gets Interested
Thursday, October 23, 2008
Byron Richards, CCN

http://www.wellnessresources.com/health/articles/boron_big_pharma_gets_interested/

Boron is a trace mineral vital to human health, especially for your bones.
Look out; Big Pharma wants to create a whole new industry centered on
boron-containing drugs to treat cancer and disease. Is this good? Why are
they interested? This was the hot topic of a recent European health
conference.

As the researchers explained All life is derived ultimately from the
element carbon, which lies next to boron in the periodic table of elements,
their respective atomic numbers being six and five. Boron compounds share
some similarities with carbon but also have important differences. It is the
combination of these similarities and differences that give boron its unique
potential in medicine. The important similarity is that boron, like carbon,
combines with hydrogen to form stable compounds that can participate in
biochemical reactions and syntheses. The key difference is that these
compounds have distinctive geometrical shapes and electronic charge
distributions with greater 3D complexity than their carbon based
equivalents.while organic carbon molecules tend to comprise rings and
chains, boron hydrides (compounds comprising mostly boron and hydrogen) are
made up of clusters and cages.
Big Pharma is excited because they think they can use boron to design
biological transport systems for cancer drugs as well as a new class of
antibiotics to treat infectious diseases. In essence, they plan to fool
Mother Nature if they can, and like any area of pharmaceutical exploration
there are potential benefits and lots of risks. Long before this research
will generate drugs, it will generate lots of new information about how
boron works in human health - a positive side effect of Big Pharma research.
Already the scientists are focusing us on the idea that new science shows
that boron is vital for the proper three dimensional structure and integrity
of living cells. Well, that certainly applies to the cells in your body and
it means you shouldn't be deficient in boron.
Boron is known as an important cofactor in the strength of your bones. It
helps your body retain calcium and magnesium, as well as assist vitamin D to
work better. The emerging science indicates that boron is likely an
integral part of the three dimensional structural integrity of your bones.
Boron has also been studied for its support of brain health, joint health,
prostate health, and estrogen balance for women.

Stay tuned - I'll keep you up to date on the breaking boron news as it
happens.

CSMay be MRSA - BB protocol for the record

2008-12-28 Thread Rowena
I treasured and kept Indi's recent posts on BB's MRSA protocol. As we don't
have group archives, I am reposting what I kept. It may be useful for
others in the future if it's kept safe in personal archives.
Rowena

BTW, yesterday I started attacking my MRSA using the protocol reported by
Brooks Bradley, consisting of 75% CS, 10% DMSO, and 15% glycerine. I put it
in a nasal spray bottle, using a syringe as a measure. I don't think I have
breathed this freely since childhood, if even then. My cats won't tell me if
I snored less than usual, but I'll bet I did. :) I also woke up two hours
earlier than usual and feeling quite rested. My right ankle, which for
several years now has been swollen and itchy, is just a bit smaller and less
red this morning also.

Up until now, the MRSA has been kept in check by topical and internal use of
CS alone, but my symptoms of swelling, itching, cellulitis, and boils have
quickly gotten out of control whenever I slacked off using it. I am hopeful
that this new method will actually rid me of the infection altogether.
Cheers,
indi

Subject: CSSuccess!

It's been one week today since I started using the protocol reported by
Brooks Bradley for treating my MRSA; i.e. using 75% CS, 10% DMSO, and 15%
glycerine both topically on my affected areas (legs, feet, back, neck, and
arms) and snorting it from a nasal spray bottle. I am also drinking 8 ounces
a day of straight CS.
Three days ago I found I no longer need my cane to walk. I no longer need to
take frequent breaks to put my feet up. All inflammation is now gone, and
the purplish splotches which have covered most of my affected areas for the
past few years (I looked like a burn victim) are returning to a healthy
color. My energy levels are nearly as high now as they were before I became
infected. I am sleeping well again. For the first time in six years, I feel
pretty much like myself again!
This infection had practically made an invalid of me. For the past 10
months, I was able to keep it somewhat under control using only CS
topically and internally. This kept me out of the hospital and off
antibiotics, but I was still very limited in my strength and energy, and in
how much time I could spend on my feet before the symptoms would flare up.
My symptoms included red to deep purple skin discoloration, swelling,
itching, boils, cellulitis, fever, pain, labored breathing, and lethargy.
The doctors were no help, and for nearly six years I was in and out of the
hospital on IV vancomycin and other antibiotics, every two to three months.
The antibiotics would appear to fix the problem, but symptoms always
returned within a few weeks. When the doctors insisted on amputation of my
right leg in January 2007, I simply stopped going to see them. With no
treatment at all for roughly two weeks, the infection spread to my other
leg, back, arms, and neck. At that time I expected to die shortly, and
decided that would be preferable to a life of misery and hospitalization. I
did not believe amputation would rid me of MRSA, and I knew the drugs
couldn't either.
It was then that a friend bought me my first bottle of CS (it was
MesoSilver). At $50 a pint I could not afford to keep using it, so a few
months later I began brewing my own using the HVAC cone method, which I am
quite sold on, given the results I have since obtained. It may be that the
more common LVDC works as well, I cannot say. I just haven't been very
inclined to try, since what I'm doing now works so well and my condition
was so serious. I'm just not willing to risk going backwards, so I've stayed
with this method.
Using the straight CS stopped the symptoms from getting out of control, but
it did not eliminate the infection. From my body's response to this new
treatment which I read about in an email from Brooks Bradley to this list I
now feel confident that this infection will be cured altogether in a short
time.
I am using my home-brewed CS, Now brand 100% vegetable glycerine, and
unbranded 99% pure DMSO intended for veterinary use and distributed by FWI
of Tulsa, OK. I bought the glycerine and the DMSO from amazon.com.
Thank you Brooks Bradley and thanks to Mike Devour and everyone on the
silver list. You have given me my life back. :)
I hope that this will be of help to others suffering as I did, and if anyone
knows a good place to repost this message where it might help others, they
have my unconditional permission to do so.
Thanks again,
indi
-

It very well might, it's made a huge difference for me.
Remains to be seen whether or not I will beat this MRSA altogether, but last
January the docs insisted my right leg would have to be amputated due to
osteomyelitis -- using CS internally and topically got it under control.

Cheers,
indi

CSGlycerine

2008-12-22 Thread Rowena
I wondered what the action of glycerine might be in Brooks Bradley's MRSA
formula. 75% CS, 10% DMSO, and 15% glycerine.

Some of you might also be interested in my search results:

Action And Uses.

 1. Immediate Local Action And Uses

Externally.-Glycerine is a slightly stimulant, antiseptic, hygroscopic, and
adhesive substance, which forms a useful application to skin diseases and
small sores, such as chaps, whether alone or in combination with other
remedies as a lotion, instead of ointments, which become rancid. (In the
pure state it is used to preserve microscopic specimens and vaccine lymph.)
Glycerinum Amyli is used as a basis for ointments.
Glycerine is readily absorbed by the unbroken skin, and will carry in with
it certain active substances, such as extract of belladonna. Glycerates may
thus produce specific effects. It is also applied to the cervix uteri,
conjunctiva, meatus auditorius, and other exposed mucous surfaces.

Internally.-Glycerine is very sweet, and imparts a smooth sweet agreeable
taste to nauseous or astringent mixtures, rendering the addition of sugar
unnecessary. As a topical stimulant and demulcent, it is an excellent
vehicle for such applications for sore throat as tannic acid. In the stomach
it produces no special effect; but is a mild laxative when freely given. As
an enema, it has been administered in ulceration of the bowels.

2. Action On The Blood

Glycerine is freely absorbed by all surfaces, and is one of the normal
products of the digestion of oils and fats in the intestines. In large
quantity it is said to cause the solution of the red corpuscles, the
diffusion of the haemoglobin in the plasma, and consequent haemoglobinuria.

3. Specific Action And Uses

Glycerine has been supposed to be nutritive, and may contribute to the
formation of adipose tissue, as a portion of the fats and oils of food must
be decomposed in digestion, and the glycerine again united with the fatty
acid in the process of nutrition. The results obtained from the
administration of glycerine instead of oils in phthisis have been very
divergent, and on the whole not encouraging. The same may be said of its use
in diabetes.

4. Remote Local Action And Uses

Glycerine is decomposed in the system, and passes out as propionic, formic,
and other acids. The urine of persons taking glycerine contains a reducing
body which gives the copper and fermentation-tests of sugar, but is not
sugar. Haemoglobinuria after large doses has been already referred to.

and

Vegetable Glycerine is a clear, colorless, and odorless liquid with an
incredibly sweet taste having the consistency of thick syrup. It is used as
an agent in cosmetics, toothpaste, shampoos, soaps, herbal remedies,
pharmaceuticals, and other household items. Because it is soluble in both
water and alcohol, its versatility is a major benefactor in its purported
growth and popularity within the manufacturing sector. It is invaluable as a
natural source ingredient with emollient like properties which can soften
and soothe the skin and it assists the outer epidermis is retaining
moisture. This helps to explain why it is one of the most popular cosmetic
additives used today.
Other uses include its solvency action which aides herbalists in extracting
botanical properties from plant materials without the use of alcohol. This
is especially helpful for those with alcohol sensitivities as most liquid
herbal extracts contain alcohol. But given its severely limited shelf life,
extracts made from Vegetable Glycerine typically have a shelf life of 14-24
months whereas alcohol extracts can have an extended shelf life of 4-6
years.

CSMRSA cure

2008-12-18 Thread Rowena

Indeed. We are so fortunate to have this.

Found out my 28 y. o. single son is sick with headache, fever, and rash on back
of hands, 1cm round spots, red with white in middle. Texting back and forth -
he wondered, as girl friend works in hospital, whether it might be MRSA - able
to reply immediately, if so, no worries, have recipe and ingredients, will
come tomorrow - he has no CS in house or could start taking it tonight.

Can't work out what it might be though, really, and he is not registered with a
Dr in his town. If he will come home with us we could get him to see someone at
local surgery for a diagnosis.

He is a musician, with important gig Saturday evening, poor guy will be so
disappointed to miss. Chest also sounds bad.

It is not like the Hand, Foot and Mouth disease he had as a boy.

Rowena

Congratulations to indi and B. Bradley for this info. It is likely to be
very valuable indeed to very many. MRSA has killed one person I know of and
there seems to be a huge increase in its incidence. Thanks so much for this.

Fw: CScoconut oil and monolauren

2008-12-13 Thread Rowena
This went direct to Bethany for some strange internet reason. I thought I
would send it along to the group seeing that was my original intention.
Rowena

I am a great fan of virgin coconut oil, and I use NiuLife brand, which I
believe is also available in the US.
It has a very pleasant taste, unlike some others I have tried.
Shelf life is y e a r s.
I am currently using VCNO instead of butter, and by mistake I had a jar of VCNO
that I use for skin on the kitchen bench, and spread that on my toast. This
was not only some years old, but was also not top grade, in that although it
had been processed as for normal VCNO, the taste had not turned out right and
it had been sold at a reduced price for cosmetic and soap making.

The taste had not improved over the years, but it was not bad either, and I ate
it with absolutely no ill effects.

It is remarkable stuff. Always keep it handy!

Rowena
Who also uses coconut milk and coconut cream instead of dairy milk.

I was wondering if anyone knows the shelf life of raw coconut oil? I
have thought about trying monolauren for things at different times - like
impentigo, etc., but haven't had coconut oil on hand. If I just buy some to
keep handy will it last for a while?

CSBrown Recluse spider bites

2008-11-10 Thread Rowena
Some of our newer members won't know about Wayne's experience a few years back
with a Brown Recluse spider bite.

It's worth keeping the information handy, I think. I followed the saga eagerly
at the time, and later saved all the posts I could to keep as much information
as possible until such time as Wayne might write it up. I emailed the document
with this information to Wayne recently.

Wayne has given me this link: http://www.fugitt.com/cs_notes/Miscellaneous/
This will take you to the spider bite document and also a number of others
including DMSO for injuries of brain and spinal cord.

2008-11-07 Thread Rowena

Back in 87, the year I first had dermal diagnosis with the Interro computer
assisted homeopathic remedy program, the above was my second result.
As you can see, I was given the homeopathic remedy Tularemia 60C, and it
never showed up again. :
6 March 1987 Streptococcinum B Hemolyticus 60C; Tularemia 60C; Vaccininum
60C; Formica Rufa 4x; Carduus Marianus 4x; Solidago (Virga Aurea) 4x.

Some paragraphs from a document I saved when doing research a while back
follow:

The disease was first described in Japan in 1837. Its name relates to the
description in 1911 of a plague-like illness in ground squirrels in Tulare
county, California (hence the name tularemia) and the subsequent work done
by Dr. Edward Francis. Tularemia occurs throughout North America and in many
parts of Europe and Asia. Francisella tularensis is found worldwide in over
a hundred species of wild animals, birds and insects. Some examples of
animals, other than rabbits, that carry tularemia are meadow mice, ground
hogs (woodchucks), ground squirrels, tree squirrels, beavers, coyotes,
muskrats, opossums, sheep, and various game birds. .. . Cook all rabbit
meat thoroughly before eating. This doesn't mean you have to over cook the
meat, simply make sure it is not bloody in the middle which is a sign that
the meat is still raw or uncooked. Bacteria that cause tularemia can live
for weeks in water, soil, carcasses, and hides, and for years in frozen
rabbit meat. ... The frequency of tularemia has dropped markedly over
the last 50 years and there has been a shift from winter disease (usually
from rabbits) to summer disease (more likely from ticks). The bacteria F.
tularensis is a hazard to laboratory staff that work closely with rabbits.
Matter of fact, nearly all cases reported each year are by people that
receive the bacterial disease from a tick bite rather than from cleaning
rabbits. Note: as few as 5-10 bacteria can result in disease. Others at risk
may include timber industry personnel, outdoor enthusiasts, as well as those
who work, play, or live in tick-infested regions during summer months. ... .
Rubber, plastic, or latex gloves should be worn while skinning or handling
rabbits, especially if you have open cuts or abrasions. Wild rabbit and
rodent meat should be cooked thoroughly before eating Also, conduct
tick checks every two to three hours if spending a lot of time outdoors
where ticks are plentiful. All ticks attached to the body should be removed
immediately. Using a pair of tweezers, slowly pull the tick straight out, no
twisting, then wash hands thoroughly after removal ...
http://www.beaglesunlimited.net/rabbithunting_tularemia.htm
see pictures of tularemia infection at
http://www.beaglesunlimited.net/rabbithunting_tularemia.htm

Tularemia is not known to be spread from person to person, so people who
have tularemia do not need to be isolated. People who have been exposed to
F. tularensis should be treated as soon as possible. The disease can be
fatal if it is not treated with the appropriate antibiotics.

More recently:
http://www.pubmedcentral.nih.gov/articlerender.fcgi?artid=516809
Historically, F. tularensis attracted attention as a biological weapon and
was a subject of military research in the United States, the former Soviet
Union, and Japan (8). In the post-Cold War era, however, F. tularensis is
included among the top six agents showing potential for great adverse public
health impact if used as a bioterrorism agent
... This suggests that there is still a great deal of unsampled F.
tularensis diversity to be discovered. . When used as a biological
threat agent, F. tularensis poses a serious public health risk (8). Its
effective development and use by State-sponsored bioweapons programs (8) may
be a harbinger of future terrorist activities, much as was recently
illustrated with the anthrax letter attacks. Detailed information about
natural populations will greatly assist in distinguishing what is natural
from events that are not. Rapid high-resolution subtyping provides a crucial
tool in understanding natural population structure, while filling a forensic
role in the event of a biological attack. This is illustrated by the
characterization of F. tularensis subsp. tularensis recently isolated in
Slovakia. In this highly diverse subspecies, the great similarity between a
laboratory strain (SCHU S4) and a Slovakian isolate was unexpected and
merits further investigation. The ongoing genome sequencing of one of the
Slovakian type A isolates will likely further explain their origin.

 http://jmm.sgmjournals.org/cgi/content/abstract/52/9/839 The isolation
and identification is reported of a novicida-like subspecies of F.
tularensis from a foot wound sustained in brackish water in the Northern
Territory of Australia.

I have been quite amazed - to my mind it is better than Vim and Ajax that I

I might let it soak for a little while if it's very bad, but a scrub and rinse

CSWashing soda - toxic? No

2008-10-31 Thread Rowena
your usual cycle. For small loads you may like to
try soaking the clothes first in a 20 litre bucket using about half a cup of
washing soda and hot water before transferring both the clothes and water to
the washing machine.

Dish washing
Dissolve 3/4 to 1 cup of washing soda in a litre of water then store in a
plastic dispenser bottle with a flip cap. When you are ready to do the
washing first rinse the debris from the dishes with a brush under a running
tap. Then with the hot tap trickling squirt a little of the washing soda
solution onto a sponge. Wipe the dish and put it to one side. Squeeze out
the sponge, squirt a little more washing soda solution onto the sponge, wipe
another dish and so on. When you have wiped all of the dishes just rinse
them under a hot tap.

I have used this method for years and I no longer need to wear rubber gloves
to protect my hands from defatting by harsh detergents.

.. Above FYI - FWIW .

Actually, since I ran out of borax I have been using washing soda in the
dishwasher - Rowena

Re: CSWashing soda - toxic? No

2008-10-31 Thread Rowena
No, Faith.
Baking soda (US) is bicarbonate of soda, or sodium bicarbonate.

Washing soda is sodium carbonate, a step or two away from bicarb. It got a
mention in the text on the pages whose links I posted. There was a
description on one of the sites, I think the steam engine one, saying what
the process was to make the sodium bicarbonate. The paragraph on my
previous post said: Washing soda is a mixture of mostly sodium carbonate
decahydrate with some sodium sesquicarbonate and sodium bicarbonate in it.
For a more mundane explanation, unless you understand the technical jargon
on the websites, you might need to enquire at your local shopping centre,
though I think someone said washing soda was getting hard to find.

It's a white powder, or in crystal form, that people use to soften water.

If you google washing soda IMAGES you will see some packages that may ring a
bell with you. Or not, if you are not over 55 and female.

I've never heard of 'washing soda'. Do yuo mean baking soda? Faith G.

Hulda Clark says you can't rinse it off, there is always a residue. She
recommends borax and washing soda. Borax in the dishwasher, with vinegar as a

When I wash a few dishes by hand here and there I use liquid dish soap, and
because it is concentrated I dilute it a lot with water. I always rinse

Well it goes something like this.

You read about the discomfort-easing results of adding a little salt to bring
the mix to a strength similar to tears.

Happy with that, you also implement the ideas of others by adding things like
Xylitol to stop bacteria sticking to the membranes and also add a nice sweet
taste to the matter dislodged.

Pleased with yourself, you continue, adding lots of salt, and MSM, and DMSO,
producing a mix that would cure anything if you could only bear to spray it.

With your spray bottle full of too-strong mix that tastes foul you don't look
forward to sweet relief as much as you used to. You kinda leave off using it.
And get used to the dripping nose and muggy sinuses.

Or so it is reported.

Hopefully then you reformulate your spray to something you WILL use.

So it is hoped.

If there are any others that do this, please speak up- how does one use
the CS every day in the sinuses?

This website informs you about the achievements of a remarkable San Diego
scientist who, back in the 1930s, invented a powerful optical microscope in
order to be able to see living bacteria, viruses and fungi (pathogens) that
he suspected to be causing a range of illnesses. He found he could see the
individual pathogens better by illuminating them with a light frequency that
matched their own resonance frequency and causing them to glow. When he
intensified the frequencies, he observed the pathogens either bursting or
going inanimate.
This invention led to the development of a remarkable way of selectively
destroying these bacteria and viruses by subjecting them to their own
resonance frequency in a similar way to how a glass is shattered when a
singer hits the right note!
What happenen to this great discovery! According to Barry Lynes in his book

CSRife Obituary

2008-10-26 Thread Rowena
Rife Obit

The Daily California
El Cajon, California, Wednesday, August 11, 1971
Scientific Genius Dies;
Saw work Discredited
The scientific genius who built one of the world's most powerful microscopes
and invented a machine to treat cancer and other diseases was buried today
in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Royal Raymond Rife, 83, whose Frequency Instrument - a method of
electrocuting disease-causing organisms int he body - was the subject of
intense debate during the 1950's, died Thursday at Grossmont Hospital of a
heart attack.
Alone and virtually penniless, he had been living in an El Cajon rest home
since last year.
Acclaimed by the scientific world in the 1930's for his invention of the
Universal Microscope, a mechanical marvel containing 5,280 parts and a
magnifying power 20 times as great as any then in existence, Rife lived to
see some fo what he considered his most important work discredited by the
medical profession.
The Frequency Instruments, used by some doctors across the United States in
treating a variety of diseases, were confiscated. Reputation were ruined and
one of Rife's associates served three years in prison before winning a
reversalof his conviction on grand theft charges.
Though Rife himself was not prosecuted, his reputation was sullied and he
clung to the suspicion that organized medicine had conspired against him in
his efforts to rid mankind of the scourge of disease.
Having spent every dime I earned in my research for the benefit of mankind,
I have ended up as a pauper, but I acchieved the impossible and would do it
again, Rife said in an affidavit filed at the time his friend and
associate, John Crane, was appealing his conviction.
He accused the American Medical Assn. of rejecting his electronic therapy
discoveries and implied the organization had brainwashed and intimimated
his colleagues as well as feloniously censored the publication of his
work.
I certify that the AAA and the Department of Public Health have declared
war on Rife's Virus Microscope Institute, said the affidavit signed Feb 7,
1967.
Rife built his microscope, one of five he invented, so he could actually see
disease viruses and observe their activity, a triumph which astounded
scientists at the time.
From his obervations, Rife developed the theory that every micro-organism
has a mortal oscillatory rate - a point at which it will shatter or break
apart when bombarded by sound waves.
He had conceived the idea of electronic therapy as early as 1922, but it was
not until 1934 in the Ellen Scripps home near La Jolla that he was ready to
demonstrate Rife's Ray.
Sixteen patients with incurable diseases were treated by physicians with
Rife's Ray in a clinical test of the machine supervised by Dr. Milbark
Johnson of Los Angeles.
The claim was made that 14 of the 16 patients were pronounced clinically
cured by the medical staff within 70 days and the remaining two patients
were discharged after, three months of treatment.

Having said that, when I have had a diy session, it has worked so well that I

looking at my mail every day to find out what the latest thing was that you

It made a big impression, especially the electric treatment from the battery.
And that the only thing that left a mark was the heat device you used.

It had no chance because you didn't leave it to someone else to (mis-) treat

I am not trying to convince anyone, just saying what has floated past my eyes.

I suppose this is how subliminal advertising works. Conscious mind doesn't see

6. Change your cooking oil to coconut oil

Coconut oil has been used to treat people that have deficiency in calcium.
Coconut oil enhances the absorption and retention of minerals like calcium
and magnesium. The medium chain fatty acids in coconut oil been used to
treat children suffering from rickets, which is a condition that involves
demineralisation and softening of the bones.

The free radicals from oxidized vegetable oils interfere with bone
formation, promoting the development of osteoporosis. The saturated fats in
coconut oil act as anti-oxidants that protect the bones from destructive
free radicals. That is why one should avoid processed vegetable oils and use
coconut oil for cooking instead.

Re: CSFrozen shoulder.

2008-09-16 Thread Rowena
For what it is worth, here is my experience.

Some years ago, near enough to twenty, I had a shoulder problem and went to
a specialist, who was going to inject it with steroids. He told me what
degree of immobility it had. I didn't fancy the treatment, so looked up my
books and concocted an ointment out of essential oils, possibly in a base of
emu oil, maybe just added to comfrey ointment. I forget. The choice was
based on the action of the oils, and there were a number of them. I was
scared enough of the needle to remember to apply the ointment morning and
night, and quite possibly in between. I cancelled my appointment, and went
for a later one; he was extremely surprised to find that the range of
movement had improved, so the jab was not necessary. I then told him I what
I had done, and that it was with that variety of oils, and he said it was a
pity there were a number, as that meant it was not possible to work out
which one had done the job. (So sad, I was a housewife and I could do the
research and fix it . . . you finish the sentence.) How much easier to
research it now with the Internet.

Anyway, a few years later I was in trouble again in my left (other)
shoulder, and went to a Chinese Traditional Medicine practitioner.
Actually, he was a professor, in his eighties but looked like early sixties,
trained in China in Western Medicine first, then later CTM. He said this
was called the fifty year shoulder (I think) because it usually happened
around the time people were fifty years old. He rubbed and manipulated very
hard on an area on the top left hand area of my chest, I think he said it
was where the nerve went through a small channel. It should be possible to
locate it on an appropriate chart. I have never had trouble with it again.

Some days after this treatment I attended my (great) masseur, and he was
immediately concerned about the bruise, and said nobody should give
treatment that bruised a patient. Well, maybe so, but Prof fixed me. I
explained what Prof had said about the nerve going through etc. and he
agreed that this was true, but still was not happy about the bruise. I
mention this in case it helps anyone name the process.

Looking at acupuncture charts, the closest I could spot a possible site for
the bruise spot was Lu 1 on the lung meridian, but it seems a bit high..
I think he was targeting an anatomical spot rather than an acupressure
point.
Despite wading through charts and photos galore I haven't been able to
identify the spot conclusively.

makes poisonous byproducts called mycotoxins. Antibiotics are one class of
mycotoxins. Without this knowledge, however, many questions are raised when
researchers stumble onto this seemingly elementary fact. Recently,
researchers have discovered that antibiotics are contributing to everything
from 2nd heart attacks to breast cancer. It is our hope that someday when
discoveries like these are made, logic will supercede confusion.

A few months ago, cancer specialists declared that 30 to 50 percent of
breast cancers were linked to diet and were therefore preventable. .
At this point, left without the immunity to fight disease-causing germs,
yeast and fungus multiply rapidly and the patients often succumb to

Clinical and Immunologic Aspects of Fungous Diseases, declared that many

I have been able to plead with doctors of advanced cancer patients to at
least try antifungal drugs for their patients. Afterwards, simply amazing
reports have come forth. Several of these have been published in The Germ
That Causes Cancer.

What if patients with cancer already had yeast and fungal infections that
grew out of control when their immune systems were damaged by chemotherapy?
What if a lump was found that was an ascomycete (sac fungus) that appeared
to diagnosticians to be cancer?
With few exceptions, doctors are good, caring, intelligent individuals.
Surely they will not indefinitely support decades-old therapy modalities
that so frequently fail..

Getting a physician to prescribe simple antifungal drugs for a deadly
disease is often impossible. The mentality seems to be, if cancer were
fungus, we'd have learned that in medical school. Couple this with what the
medical industry refers to as the standard of care, and real problems
evolve. That standard rejects anything but chemotherapy, radiation or
surgery for cancer patients. Even if physicians wanted to try antifungal
therapy for their patients, doing so would, perhaps, be perceived as being
at odds with the standard of care.

Indeed, some scientists believe that fungal pathogens account for more
upper respiratory infections than bacteria and viruses combined. Fungi can
cause all of the symptoms associated with low-grade, upper respiratory
infections, such as mild fever and cough, chills, sweating, and headache.
Examination of more serious fungal infections often leads to mistaken
diagnoses of pneumonia, tuberculosis, meningitis, rheumatoid arthritis or
even brain tumors.

Wilhelm R. Rosenblatt of the Tuberculosis Control Program, New Mexico Health
and Environment Department, echoes this point. He comments that physicians
often mistake coccidioidomycosis and histoplasmosis of the lungs for
tuberculosis. He adds that when patients suffering from fungal lung
infections, they have inadvertently been sent to tuberculosis hospitals, and
then contract tuberculosis while there! p.30

Many of these studies have concluded that, when doctors treat their patients
as though they had contracted tuberculosis, the histoplasmosis often worsens
as a result of secondary effects of the antibiotics used to treat
tuberculosis.p.140 This happens all too often today, when physicians

CSInformation4U article on CS and silver coated tubes in surgery

2008-09-07 Thread Rowena
COLLOIDAL SILVER'S VALUE http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Information4U

A new study published in JAMA is sure to have an unintended result -
dramatically boosting the sales of colloidal silver around the country as a
powerful immune support mineral. The study was actually about the use of
silver-coated tubes in hospital patients, and it showed a 36 percent reduction
of ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP), with a 48% reduction over the first
10 days (the common length of tube use for many).

Silver has been used in Greece, Rome, and Europe for centuries as a medicinal
germ-killing metal to prevent food spoilage, enhance wound healing, and protect
against nasty infections like the plague. Various antibiotic silver
preparations were in widespread use in the United States prior to the invention
of the FDA, meaning that silver has been grandfathered in as a natural remedy
the FDA has little control over.

Nevertheless, the FDA routinely attacks makers of colloidal silver - especially
when products are associated with claims of curing AIDS or some other nasty
infection. In fact, the FDA makes an effort to discredit silver as an
effective antibiotic even when there is a mountain of evidence and consumer use
that says otherwise. Naturally there are higher quality silver products, but
the overall tone of the FDA is more like the mafia trying to protect turf.

The new JAMA study is interesting for several reasons. Tube-related infections
are life-threatening and cause many unnecessary deaths every year. Bacteria
and Candida form biofilms on tubes, which is actually an effort on the part of
one's body to reject a foreign substance that has come into close contact with
living tissue. Such infections cause your immune system to go and look at the
tube, and if your immune system had its way it would dissolve the tube to get
rid of it. This natural defense against the tube poses a serious treatment
challenge when a tube has a medical necessity to be there - especially for any
length of time.

The silver-coated tubes were designed to steadily release silver ions, not much
different than taking colloidal silver as a dietary supplement. The
researchers explain how this works, Silver kills bacteria and yeast by
sticking to the organisms' enzymes, genetic material and other molecular
components, preventing basic functions and interfering with reproduction. These
organisms very rarely develop resistance to silver, and the metal has no known
side effects in humans. The new endotracheal tubes are coated with a
silver-containing polymer, created by C.R. Bard Inc., that releases silver ions
to the surface of the tubes. There, silver exerts a broad-spectrum
antimicrobial effect, reduces adhesion of bacteria to the tube and blocks the
formation of biofilms, communities of microorganisms that build up special
protective structures on surfaces. this is just the beginning for this kind of
technology.

A silver renaissance is now under way.

CSSalt and Lyme

of us have ignored these because they were so simple.
Many people are finding surprising results from using salt
alone, but the Vitamin C is part of the Lyme S/C protocol, and deals with
viruses.

Lyme and Sauna:
Mark Firefox on Lymestrategies said that the Lyme spirochete,
Babesia burgdorferi (Bb), lacks heat shock proteins and is therefore
affected by body fevers, and so sauna exposure may impede its forming
protein-derived cyst walls efficiently. Drs. Agatha and Calvin Thrash showed
that Lyme and other pathogenic infections could be greatly impacted/reduced
with sauna use. Bb seeks to lessen the sweating ability of many Lymies via
the hypothalamus. Pathogenic gram-negative microbes (G-) have a thinner cell
wall than friendly gram-positive microbes, and are impacted and often
impaired by fever and heat. Marc knows of Lymies who have benefited by using
saunas (steam, dry, FIR, etc.) as part of their regimen, which also promoted
immune response, wholesale detoxing of endotoxins and other toxins,
increased circulation, oxygenation, etc. A cold finish to the treatment,
like traditional Scandinavian practice, can increase immune cell activity,
endorphins, glandular activity and so on. In his own blood, using a powerful
Bradford microscope, he observed the sudden appearance of quantities of
lymphocytes immediately following such a session. He was told the heat/cold
shock actually damages negative microbes but alerts and causes rapid
deployment of human immune cells.

CSBody Clocks and depression, bipolar, diabetes, glucose and insulin,

2008-09-04 Thread Rowena
http://www.abc.net.au/catalyst/stories/2351893.htm
video on webpage above.
Programme: Catalyst, ABC TV 4 September 2008
Transcript of program also on above page.

Dr Kennaway: We thought that we understood how the brain clock worked, but we
had no idea each cell actually contained all the requirements for keeping time,
for keeping 24 hour time.

Narration: And that has revolutionised our understanding of how the body clock
- or should we say body clocks - really work.
It begins with light - which resets the brain clock each morning. It then sends
the hormonal messages that help keep all the other body clocks in synchrony.

Dr Kennaway: I'm just, I really am in awe of it, because it's, every organ
system is ticking away. Our muscles, our pancreas, our liver, our skin, our
bowels, our kidneys. Pause. What that then makes possible is for the organs to
plan what's going to happen next. So in the case of the liver, it can prepare
for the next meal by sending some enzymes up, to help digest the food or
metabolise glucose. And so it's all a very highly coordinated system of
preparation for the next event. It's all been set up several hours before by
this clock system.

Narration: At 9pm, my brain secretes melatonin - preparing for sleep. body
temperature falls. and the whole cycle starts again. At least, that's what's
supposed to happen. But what if your master clock is faulty? Well, there's a
growing realisation it can drive you crazy. The drummer for this weekend rock
band is psychologist Dr Greg Murray.

Dr Murray: More and more data has come in to support the idea that a
vulnerability or some sort of deregulation in the body clock is a primary cause
for mood disorders. Depression and bipolar disorder.

.

Then you'll see a very strange thing. Twenty-four hours, no sleep. The next
day, the person had a sleep period, but the next day again, twenty-four hours
no sleep. At this point, the person suffered a manic episode and was
hospitalised and left the study.

Narration: In a landmark if odd looking study, he put these mice on shift work.

Dr Kennaway: Well, what we find is that after just four weeks of shiftwork they
become glucose intolerant and they were also insulin intolerant. And these are
the precursors for developing diabetes.

Narration: The reason? It turns out, the clocks in their muscles aren't ready
to take up glucose from food during sleeping hours.

Narration: But surely people who work nights long term adjust? Well, other new
research from the Centre for Sleep Research in Adelaide shows no, they never
do. Unless you live somewhere like an oil rig, where all light can be excluded,
you continue to make melatonin at night, and cortisol in the day. The trouble
is, for most of us, that simple burst of sun on the way home is enough to reset
the brain clock.

Dr Kennaway: So the brain clock keeps ticking properly and getting reset, but
the food and the activity is resetting the other organ clocks. This is bad,
because now you've got a conflict between the brain and liver, pancreas,
muscle. And that's where we see that people are likely to increase their risk
of, of metabolic disease.

Re: CSMotor Neuron Disease - antibiotics Molecular/Orthomolecular

Are you perhaps thinking of Orthomolecular medicine?
Molecular seems to refer mostly to orthodox study - this man is a
Professor, so in a University, so far more likely to be orthodox /
allopathic than not.
Rowena

Wikipedia says:

Orthomolecular medicine is a form of complementary and alternative medicine
which aims to prevent and treat disease with substances which are natural to
the body. Prescriptions typically focus on providing nutrients, either
through dietary supplements or modified diets which provide proper nutrition
and eliminate deleterious substances such as allergens, refined foods, sugar
and transfats. The term orthomolecular was first coined in a 1967
letter[4] by Nobel Prize winner Linus Pauling and later elaborated on in a
1968 paper on micronutrients and psychiatry to express the idea of the
right molecules in the right amounts (ortho is Greek for right). In this
paper, Pauling indicated that the right molecules are substances that are
normally present in the human body.
Orthomolecular medicine began with a particular focus upon mental illness,
and orthomolecular psychiatry remains a major subdiscipline. Proponents
state that orthomolecular treatments are based on patients' personal
biochemistries and employ naturally-occurring or bioequivalent biomolecules,
particularly nutrients such as vitamins, dietary minerals, proteins,
antioxidants, amino acids, lipotropes, prohormones, dietary fiber, fatty
acids and other similar substances, as well as various digestive factors.

CSBacteria Mental Illness Cancer Part 1

2008-09-03 Thread Rowena

I came across this old silverlist post which I thought current members
would be interested in. It also mentions scleroderma and SLE (lupus). Rowena

Bacteria Mental Illness Cancer

Is it not amazing that cancers are rampant in the population and nobody
in the higher echelons of the medical profession are calling for
research into why and how these cancers are rampant!!

Where have all those billions gone and continue to go -- those billions
gone into medical cancer research? They all have wonderful careers
and earn great salaries!!

Forgive my rant! and now for my contribution --

Bacteria Mental Illness -- The renowned Mayo Clinic medical
researcher Dr Carl Rosenow wrote a paper on this very subject 50 years ago.

My recollection is the following: He was working in a NY
mental hospital with serverely disturbed patients.

He took nasal mucus from patients and transferred this to rats
noses (I presume). He observed the rats began behaving in
a similiar manner as patients. How one deduces that, I'm not sure
about!

One can't expect the (Witch) doctors of the mental health profession to
accept such a simple medical concept!!

NOTE: The most important personal good health pratice one can develop
is wash your hands often!!

As soon as you enter your home environment from outside -- wash
your hands!! Avoid introducing the dirt and bacteria etc from outside.
Forgive me for reminding us all about this very simple but important
habit.

CS is probably your most reliable personal anti-bacterial. Have your
squirt bottle/s of CS handy. Get into the habit of squirting a shot of
CS down your throat during the day -- especially at least once during
the night. One squirt does it -- just let it trickle down the throat!

cause of Cancer

The Russell Body
The Forgotten Clue To
The Bacterial Cause Of Cancer
© 2003, by Alan Cantwell, Jr. M.D. 11-17-3

The twentieth century was indeed the century of Modern Medicine with
tremendous strides made in the understanding and control of infectious
diseases, as well as the introduction of life-saving antibiotics and
vaccines. Unfortunately, along with these advances came the perils of
genetic engineering, the increasing threat of newly emerging viruses,
biowarfare, and bioterrorism

Despite these scientific achievements, the cause of cancer remains a
mystery. Scientists suspect genetic susceptibility, possible
cancer-causing viruses, and environmental factors might play a role in
some cancers, but none of these factors explain why millions of people
die yearly from a variety of malignancies.

William Russell 1852-1940, as pictured in
The British Medical Journal, August 24, 1940.

How could scientists put men on the moon, but remain so ignorant about
cancer and its origin? How can the infectious causes of tuberculosis,
leprosy, syphilis, smallpox, polio, malaria, and other viral and
bacterial and parasitic diseases be understood, but the cause of cancer
be unknown? Could the cause of cancer conceivably be an infectious
agent that has been overlooked, ignored, or unrecognized by medical doctors
in the twentieth century? Could the germ of cancer be hidden in the
Russell body? - a large microscopic form known to every pathologist for over
a
century!

William Russell (1852-1940) and the parasite of cancer

On December 3, 1890 William Russell, a pathologist in the School of
Medicine at the Royal Infirmary in Edinburgh, gave an address to the
Pathological Society of London in which he outlined his histopathologic
findings of a characteristic organism of cancer that he observed
microscopically in fuchsine-stained tissue sections from all forms of
cancer that he examined, as well as in certain cases of tuberculosis,
syphilis and skin infection.

The parasite was seen within the tissue cells (intracellular) and
outside the cells (extracellular). The size of Russell's parasite
ranged from barely visible, up to half again as large as a red blood
corpuscle. The largest round forms were easily seen microscopically.
The large size of some of these bodies suggested a fungal or yeast-like
parasite. Russell provisionally classified the parasite as a possible
blastomycete (a type of fungus); and called the forms fuchsine
bodies because of their bluish-red staining qualities.

Microbiology was still in its infancy in Russell's era, and it was
generally thought that each microbe could only give rise to a single
disease. Thus, the idea of a cancer germ (especially one that could
also be identified in TB and syphilis) was received cautiously. Nine years
later in 1899, in yet another report on The parasite of cancer
appearing in The Lancet (April 29), Russell admitted that finding
cancer parasites in diseases other than cancer was indeed a stumbling
block

Part 2

Scientists who have extensively studied the cancer microbe claim it
most closely resembles the type bacteria that cause tuberculosis and
leprosy-
the so-called mycobacteria. Mycobacteria are closely related to fungi;
and some microbiologists claim mycobacteria are essentially derived
from the higher fungi. Myco in Greek means fungus. Ergo, mycobacteria
are onsidered fungus-like bacteria.

Photo #6: Extremely large super-giant-sized solitary Russell body in
the skin of cutaneous lupus erythematosus, a so-called collagen
disease. The perfectly round shape, except for one area, suggests this
large body is developing inside a cell that is readly to burst.
Kinyoun's (acid-fast) stain, magnification x 1000.

During the 1960s microbiologist Louis Dienes popularized the terms
cell wall-deficient and L form to encompass bacterial growth stages that
exist at one extreme as small filterable virus-sized forms, and at the
opposite extreme as large (50 micron or larger) spherical forms that he
termed large bodies. These so-called large bodies are what I believe
Russell bodies represent.

It must be understood that microbes are partially classified in
microbiology according to size. Viruses are submicroscopic and cannot be
visualized
with an ordinary light microscope. Unlike bacteria, viruses can only
replicate inside a cell. Bacteria can be seen microscopically, but
smaller submicroscopic and filterable bacterial forms (now known as
nanobacteria) are also known. Fungi and yeast forms are much larger
than bacteria, and mold can obviously be seen with the naked eye.

Larger Russell bodies are indeed similar in size to certain spore forms
of fungi. However, what is generally not appreciated is that bacteria
can grow into fungal-sized large bodies, depending on certain
laboratory conditions. Thus, bacteria in this form can easily be mistaken
for
fungi and yeast organisms.

Giant-sized L-forms greatly resemble large-sized Russell bodies. The
century-old history of research into atypical growth forms of bacteria
is reviewed in Lida Mattman's seminal text, Cell Wall Deficient Forms:
Stealth Pathogens (1993). A knowledge of this somewhat esoteric branch
of microbiology is essential to understand the proposed microbiology of
cancer.

The most impressive electron microscopic photographs I have ever
observed of cell wall-deficient L-forms of mycobacteria were taken by
the late C Xalabarder of Barcelona. In a series of papers and books
(1953-1976) published in Spanish (with English-language summaries) by
the Publicaciones del Instituto Antituberculoso Francisco Moragas,
Xalabarder totally transformed my concept about how tuberculosis-
causing mycobacteria reproduce and grow and drastically change their
appearance.
In medical school we were taught that simple bacteria simply divide
in two equal halves by binary fission. However, nothing could be further
from the truth, and it is only by a refutation of this simplistic
concept that a serious study of the microbiology of cancer can be
undertaken.

Tuberculosis and Cancer

Because cancer is produced by a microbe similar to the bacteria that
cause TB, much can be learned from experiments like those performed by
Xalabarder in 1967. Using atypical mycobacteria grown from TB
patients who had taken long courses of drug therapy, Xalabarder then
injected
these bacteria into guinea-pigs and rabbits. Amazingly, he was able to
experimentally produce lesions which microscopically resembled cancer!
He also produced experimental lesions characteristic of so called
collagen disease- a type of lesion seemingly unrelated to cancer.

During the 1960s I discovered unusual pleomorphic acid-fast bacteria in
a collagen disease called scleroderma, and later in another collagen
disease called lupus erythematosus. The germs I grew from these
patients closely resembled scleroderma microbes that were reported by
Virginia
Livingston in 1947, and which subsequently led to her discovery of
similar acid-fast microbes in cancer.

In 1969 Xalabarder manipulated different developmental stages of TB
bacteria and inoculated them into one thousand guinea pigs. In the
process, he produced the microscopic picture of sarcoidosis in the
animals. Sarcoidosis is a human disease closely related to TB but one
in which TB germs cannot be found. Xalabarder's most impressive sarcoid
lesions were produced by inoculating sputum specimens from TB patients
who converted, meaning that their TB bacteria could no longer be
cultured from their sputum. Controversy over the cause of sarcoidosis
is still not settled, although I reported bacteria similar to cancer
microbes in this disease in the 1980s.

The most spectacular electron microphotographs of cell wall-deficient
mycobacteria are presented in Xalabarder's L-forms of mycobacteria and
chronic nephritis (1970). In the earliest growth stages of mycobacteria
in culture the smallest elements appear as tiny submicroscopic forms
visualized only with the electron microscope.

Re: CSCMO/Glucosamine with MSM

2008-09-02 Thread Rowena
Via another lady in Australia, I obtained a supply of EHP Myristin and
Myrist-Aid, and also the cream.
http://www.cetylmyristoleate.com/

I heard from her recently that she is better, though on the way through the
protocol she ended up on crutches.
She took the capsules faithfully three times a day as prescribed. She also took
Milk Thistle as recommended.

I am much improved, and probably about half way through the course.
45 minutes before meals rarely happens for me.
I have to be content with taking them when I remember, whenever that happens to
be, and as often as I remember. Ditto the cream. I will put some of that on
when I remember where I put it after coming home from holiday. I finished off
what Milk Thistle I had in the house, and after a gap of 3 weeks or so got
another supply. If I remember, I take those twice a day.

I do have arthritis, but my main reason for taking them is that I heard that
fibromyalgia improves also.

Yes, I used CMO, and MSM and glucosamine, along with ibuprofen and the hot pad
and magnets on the knees for pain, and it all worked. I`m now pretty much pain
free. Marshalee

Do any of you have personal experience and documented the usage of CMO and
Glucosamine to recover from arthritis?

I would like to know if anyone has kept a daily log with dosages and time
line and the results that were obtained.

The creator of Biotape (an acupuncturist) writes:
. [I] believe the root cause of pain is broken, cut, or suppressed
endogenous electrical signals between cells. To heal pain, the broken
circuits must be reconnected. I developed a highly conductive, silver
membrane to be applied over the site of pain. Once the membrane is applied,
it acts (electrically) like a living part of the body.
The theory has similarities to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). I'm not
too concerned if the theory is accurate or not, but if it is effective. He
claims a large proportion of people report a major reduction in pain in 0-60
minutes of application. As it is not particularly expensive I ordered some
for a friend with chronic fibromyaglia and headpain. Biotape was applied to
her back for fibromyalgia pain in this area. She commented This Biotape is
amazing, it gave her a huge reduction in pain very quickly. She also tried
the conductive headband on her 24 hour headpain, which has been unresponsive
to a very long list of drugs and alternative therapies. She said something
to the extent of I feel so silly as opiates and other drugs haven't helped,
but this headband has reduced the pain around 30%!
