Hi Sherry,
I deleted all the files and subdirectories from the C:\Windows\Temp folder
and deleted the grid.usr file again. I restarted windows and retried it and
again get runtime error 6.
I tried it with smaller files and it is OK. I tried it with my main file

I deleted all my .usr files to see which .usr files the Print Name

These are: Custlist.usr, Custview.usr, Grid.usr, Legacy5.usr and Legacy7.usr.
Try to delete these files to see if that makes any difference.
You could also backup your user files and delete all te usr files to
Sarah,
Please explain exactly what type of web pages you are using (eg pedigree etc)
and on which page where abouts on the page you wish the link to be placed.
To advise on having it included automatically by Legacy this information is
essential.

Sherry also said to use File Check/Repair twice.
You don't mention that you tried that.

Hi Paul,
Glad it worked for you. I know these relationships aren't unusual. I
just don't have that particular combination but plenty of cousin
marriages and people marrying their brothers/sisters in law.

Bill,
With respect, whilst that would work it is not necessarily the best way of
doing it; I would hate to have to do that for 3000 pages = of pedigree web
pages.
There are more efficient ways but until Sarah answers my questions I cannot
advise.

Richard,
Did you run the File File Maintenance Check/Repair?
Please contact me directly off-list at [EMAIL PROTECTED] We
need to figure out why you're getting this error and I'll need to take a
look at your file - *don't* send it to the list g

Am I right in thinking that pictures attached to Marriages and Baptisms

Hi all, another question. I have, somehow, in my file a bunch of

actually none)- around 800 or so of them. I'm sure that they were

Ron I forgot to answer that I would usually enter it into the source

Thanks,

HI,
Sorry Ron,
If I click on Search, under user ID (I put in the rin #) it says record not
found. I used this before and it always worked for me I don't know what
happened. So now I go into name list and look for it there.

I do not understand where you are, nor where you are getting User ID from.
Let me start again please and forgive the step by step explanation.

Hi Glenna,
Not sure whether Ron is still online as it's after midnight where he
lives. On the other hand, I'm about to have a late breakfast ;-)
That's your problem then. User ID and RIN are two different numbers.
You sound as if you are on the Query by Example tab of the Search.
The RIN is
RIN is different than User ID.
The question is why would you use Search to look for a RIN? All you have to
do is go to the Index View or the Name List and click on the RIN window and
scroll down to the RIN you're looking for.
Thanks for using Legacy.

Hi Cathy,
Yeh, I'm still on-line - it's update my website time [not helped by Legacy's
bug in the pedigree web pages ;-) or :-( maybe ]. Had to get the last bit in as

I hadn't thought of Glenna going to Query by Example tab and
Sherry,
We only got onto this aspect as it was not clear from the original post as to
exactly what was required, so I suggested both Index View and Search in case a
selection of RINs was required.

Hi Everyone
Thanks for all your help, but I think I will unscribe from this list for a
while. I'm so confused right now! I will study this for a while and see if I
can merge my four trees together and work on that. Once I get that done I
will be back.

Ron,
Well, even then, if you're looking for a range, it just seems so much more
simple to look at the Name List or Index View sorted in RIN order g
Her original message in this thread just says she wants to search by RIN,
but I might have missed a post saying otherwise.
Thanks for using Legacy.
User ID is not RIN, RIN is RIN ...

Out of curiousity, how do people deal with conflicting evidence and

I personally would go with the death certificate in that instance. Many

I usually set up an Alt Birth, Alt Death (etc) event with the conflicting
info, make sure in notes in each it is clear what the source is, and take
the most-likely-to-be-right as the primary (just like with Alternative
names). They can always be swapped if I change my mind as to what is most
