Eric,
I thought that the problems with using footnotes had been cured. I cannot check
this until tomorrow (Sunday - GMT +1:00), but meanwhile I suggest that you
raise a bug report giving the full details - Legacy Home tab.

That's a great idea. It really isn't a big deal, I just don't want the

I don't think they will get printed from there in many reports, if that
is a concern.

This is a lot of work reorganizing all this stuff again. I did this last
year in FTM and it took almost a year. However, Legacy has better output
than FTM ever will.
I'm wondering if my Grave field for individual tombstone photos is the way
to go with this. Somebody else said they put it under

family and I hope I am clear about this.
(I am using version 7.0.0.109, on Windows Vista.)
The mother had three children, all different fathers.
Another suggestion - import a test file of you data to Legacy and just
play around with it for awhile. Try entering information in different
ways and then checking various reports and the many options within
those reports to see how it looks, what you like and don't like. In
general, get familiar
Legacy is broken and won't load without crashing. I've given up on it.
While I think it's a great program with a lot of features, I can't get past
the crashing especially when working with images. If it won't cooperate
with the images, then I have no need for it.
I'm going back to TMG until

Have you tried opening that picture file in an imaging program such

If what your feeling is that your only picture for a person is the grave, which
you don't want to look at continuously, you might want to take one of the
default pictures with Windows (flowers, skys, animals, etc.). They are already
in the DB, so no downloading, and minimal space requirements.
With Legacy closed, go to the Legacy folder on your hard drive. Delete the
Legacy3.dbm file.
In each folder where you have stored your pictures that are linked to the
Legacy file, you'll find a PicList.dbm file. Those need to be deleted also.
Then reinstall the latest build of Legacy.
Bill,
I have over 10,000 images linked to events and persons in my Legacy database

ago.
There are tools available from third parties such as LTools which can help you

It's not the image. I can view it just fine in Photoshop or Windows

I'm seriously considering just keeping the images outside of Legacy
Here's another idea: use the NotFound.jpg picture which is found in your

Or another: find and use one of those one pixel jpegs used on some web

Brown. She doesn't go back to Kathy Anderson because most people know
her has Kathy Brown and also because she doesn't want to.
She remarries, Kathy Brown marries David Smith.
It would seem to be a route to much confusion if anybody were to be given
more than one primary name. Entering the married name as an AKA should
result in proper display if not reports.
