Hi Walter, The files go into C:\Program Files\Winamp\Plugins on Windows XP. I'm not sure about Windows 7. If you download the plugin as an executable file, I think it will have the installer built in. If it is a zip file, you just need to unpack the files and copy them to the plugins

When you say sound the same, I assume you are talking about volume? You can do this using the match effect in the volume processes list. I haven't tried this myself but I'm guessing it works by comparison, and you can choose the optimal volume based on the file that you feel has the correct
