Hi all,
This is like a stupid question, but a friend of mine asked me and I wasn't
to sure.
Hi,
for Belgium you can find prices on http://www.brandstofprijzen.be/ (in Dutch).
On the main page you can find the current prices at the pump.
These prices are the maximum prices as decided by the government.
When you click on the left menu on officiele prijzen you'll have more
details.
Hi Keith,
this one looks even better and it works even in extreme hot/cold conditions:

country. All prices are exclusive VAT.
I hope I could help you on this.
Best regards,

I wonder where you're getting your information on making biodiesel
from Gregory?
Well, a little bit from everywhere. The one article sais do it like this, the
other one like that,... For the one you need titration, for the other you

That's not long enough, no matter how much agitation you use. Max
speed might not be the best. You'll find more information on this

Another thing: I took the pH of those white flakes from my 1st wash and
that seems to be 1,03. It seems that my 1st washing water was too acid, but
should this affect the washing? AFAIK the extra H+ and (SO4)2- will be
drained
Hi,
now I'm trying to wash my biodiesel. I'll mention the steps, because I think I
did something wrong :)
Ok, the pH of the unwashed biodiesel was 12,12. I took 99ml of water and I
added 1ml of 96% pure H2SO4. I added this to the biodiesel + another 77ml of
water. That makes 177ml of added
Hi everybody,
now I used the correct amount of NaOH and my 2nd batch seems to be much
better :-)
The result can be found on:

Your top layer appears to be a shadow, not a layer. You'll also find that
the fuel will clarify from the top down, perhaps giving the appearance of
three layers.
Indeed, now it's dark outside here in Belgium and the top layer is gone.
Hello everybody,
I was wondering if somebody already did some tests with Na methylate? In the
document on http://www.asa-europe.org/pdf/ta_biodiesel.pdf (bottom of page 5)
you can find the advantages of using it.
Today I got an email from a chemical company and, here in Belgium, I can get a

There are other variables involved, such as heat. Did you follow the step

The processing temp should be 55C.
Ok, that will be the problem;
Hi everybody,
I was wondering if I can also make methylesters out of pure rapeseed oil. I
added a NaOH + methanol mixture to the oil, but it didn't really worked out
they way it should be. (at least in my opinion ;-) )
