but here are some ideas which might be helpful for you:
I use Xapi [1] a lot to retrieve only a specific portion of the OSM data
for a large area (e.g. all relations with a route=bus tag).

Apparently, the digitalglobe imagery has been updated. I noticed when I
was mapping around Jacmel. I don't know whether the imagery is *better*
aligned but it its alignment is obviously different from the former
image set (~ 50 m offset?).

Het is ook niet per se de bedoeling dat we iedere keer dezelfde
gezichten zien - al ben je natuurlijk steeds welkom.
Een keer per maand is inderdaad erg ambitieus; het moet wel elke keer
georganiseerd worden: locatie, evt. activiteiten, sprekers, pers...
Daarom ook discussie en animo peilen.
En daarnaast is het goed om een goede wisseling te hebben door het land
heen. De ene keer in het noorden, de volgende keer in het zuiden, etc.
Bedoeling is om juist ook de mensen te triggeren die niet zo vaak in
Amsterdam of andere grote steden van de randstad komen.

Für Joomla gibt es injooosm [1], besprochen auch auf der deutschen ML
[2], und joomGPStracks [3].

Der LinuxTag ist eine der größten Veranstaltungen zum Thema Open Source etc.
