जव्हार प्रकल्पांतर्गत जव्हार, मोखाडा, विक्रमगड व वाडा तालुक्यांत ३० सरकारी आश्रमशाळा चालवल्या जात असून, या शाळांत २१ हजारपेक्षा जास्त विद्यार्थी शिक्षण घेत आहेत. जव्हार – जव्हार प्रकल्पांतर्गत जव्हार, मोखाडा, विक्रमगड व वाडा तालुक्यांत ३० सरकारी आश्रमशाळा चालवल्या जात असून, या शाळांत २१ हजारपेक्षा जास्त विद्यार्थी शिक्षण घेत आहेत. मात्र प्रकल्पाचा भोंगळ कारभार आणि अधिका-यांची अनास्था यामुळे या विद्यार्थ्यांना अद्याप पुस्तके मिळालेली नाहीत. त्यामुळे सध्या तरी या विद्यार्थ्यांवर ‘शिक्षणाच्या नावाने आयचा घो!’ म्हणण्याची वेळ आली आहे. ग्रामीण भागातील आदिवासी विद्यार्थ्यांना शिक्षणाच्या मुख्य प्रवाहात आणण्यासाठी महाराष्ट्र सरकारने आश्रमशाळांची निर्मिती केली आहे. महाराष्ट्र सरकार बजेटच्या सर्वात जास्त नऊ टक्के निधी आदिवासी विभागासाठी खर्च करते. मात्र या प्रकल्पातील अधिका-यांच्या अनास्थेमुळे आदिवासी विद्यार्थ्यांच्या नशिबीचे भोग आजही संपलेले नाहीत. जून महिन्यात सुरू झालेला आश्रमशाळांतील प्रवेशांचा गोंधळ शमत नाही तोच, विद्यार्थ्यांच्या भोजनाच्या प्रश्नाने उचल खाल्ली होती. ज्या विद्यार्थ्यांना शाळांत प्रवेश मिळाला, त्या विद्यार्थ्यांना शिधापुरवठा वेळेत न मिळाल्याने मुख्याध्यापक व अधीक्षकांनाच शाळा सुरू ठेवण्यासाठी कसरत करावी लागली. आता शाळा सुरू होऊन दोन महिने उलटले असतानाही वह्या आणि पुस्तकेच मिळाली नसल्याचे समोर आल्याने प्रकल्पाचा भोंगळ कारभारच चव्हाटय़ावर आला आहे. सर्व शिक्षा अभियानांतर्गत पहिली ते सातवीपर्यंतच्या विद्यार्थ्यांना पुस्तकांचा अनियमित पुरवठा करण्यात आला आहे. तर १०वीच्या विद्यार्थ्यांना आतापर्यंत केवळ तीनच विषयांची पुस्तके मिळाली आहेत. त्यामुळे या विद्यार्थ्यांचे १०वीचे महत्त्वाचे वर्ष फुकट जाण्याचीच शक्यता जास्त आहे.दरम्यान, या गंभीर घटनेची दखल पंचायत समितीचे माजी सभापती चंद्रकांत रंधा यांनी घेतली असून, त्यांनी आश्रमशाळांना भेट देऊन तेथील विद्यार्थ्यांच्या समस्या जाणून घेतल्या आहेत. दुपारच्या जेवणाचे डहाणूत तीनतेरा महाराष्ट्र सरकारने ठाणे जिल्ह्यातील अतिदुर्गम व आदिवासी भागांतील मुलांची शाळांतील गळती थांबावी, तसेच त्यांची पटसंख्या वाढावी, यासाठी दुपारी जेवण देण्याची योजना सुरू केली आहे. यात मुलांना खिचडी देण्यात येते. मात्र कासा, सायवन या भागातील शाळांत तेल, मीठ, मिरची इत्यादी साहित्याचा अद्याप पुरवठा झालेला नसल्याने या दुपारच्या जेवणाचे तीनतेरा वाजले आहेत. सवयीप्रमाणे या शाळांतील विद्यार्थी सोबत जेवणासाठी ताट घेऊन येतात, मात्र जेवणच मिळत नसल्याने ताट वाजवत रिकाम्यापोटी या विद्यार्थ्यांना परतावे लागत आहे.
