They will stop texting or calling it once they see this a couple times. Just send it to customers who have this number. It worked for me for the 15 or 20 who still had my personal cell. I didn't want to change my number either so give it a try. For texts to our business number, we use Zipwhip and it works great. It allows us to have two way texting with customers using our business landline/voip number. It's also integrated in with our billing system to send billing reminders via SMS in addition to the emails that no one seems to read anymore. Everyone opens their texts though.
