Who said that? It's the exact same problem, it's so damn loose. Yes, you still have to force that cable up there for it to work.
They did include a rubber IP67 boot. If you put this inside and try to put a cat5/rj45 in there you'll destroy the female jack of the radio. I would guess if you slid the rubber thing over the cat5, plugged it in, and kept that boot in there it would help it from coming down at all but the trade there is a new tech will destroy the radio more often than what the boot would help...
