Successful process was a jab at evolution.
The monetary system is a pretty big can of worms. Perhaps just a
distraction from the bigger problem of man's tendency to "take" from
others through whatever justification can be fabricated. The monetary
system isn't the problem. The problem is in the man, but what you gonna
do?
My hope used to be that through AGI research we would better understand
man's motivation and behavior - because we were trying to model and
instrument something intelligent, like a man. I still think this is a
pretty good strategy. If we "obtain" this understanding, then we might
be able to teach people to better control themselves and own up to their
responsibility. Such a humbled man might go far toward getting needed
assistance, to start contributing, and having a life.
