I was in pretty desperate shape until I became old enough to be "government
funded" (Social Security). It ain't much - but it is a LOT easier to
stretch a little than to stretch nothing.

I wrote DrEliza.com while in your condition. All it takes is a laptop and
an obsolete version of development software probably worth $10 on eBay. Try
it - it works. Now, can you believe that is an Access 97 application with a
supporting VB-5 module!!!

In what year? With gigaflops per kilobuck halving every year of so, spend
$1,000 on something now, and be prepared to move to your final platform in
6 years.

I've got THAT beat. I was UNCONSCIOUS most afternoons, and had a gigantic
spherical belly resembling a large globe that was SO tight it sounded like
a ripe melon when I thumped it. I researched these problems to a one-time
cure in 4 months of all-conscious-time effort. My total research
expenditure was just ~$200. My secret - stick to the Scientific Method -
something not yet tried in medical "research", and once I had read
everything on Google I called leading researchers to get their take on
things, etc.

I've probably been around a little longer than you, and I have heard this
"change" thing a LOT. People act one way to get elected, and another way
once they are elected. Trump might be different - but I'll have to see it
to believe it.

Notice that you have NOT heard ONE word about shortening the workweek so
everyone can have a job, or of providing SOME money for everyone, or even
of guaranteeing everyone a place to pitch their tent. The absence of ANY of
this tells me that either Trump is already on the wrong side, or he is too
stupid to help.

Full employment can be had with the stoke of a pen. Simply institute a six
hour workday. That will easily create enough new jobs to bring back full
employment.
