I've been out of work for four years, and I have a number of serious and
growing financial problems that, despite being very frugal, have proven
to be unavoidable.

Without getting too personal, consider my options for moving forward
with AI research. I am unable to pursue any personal projects for lack
of funding. =|

Lets say I try to build a machine on the scale that Minsky suggested
should be capable of AGI, and I tend to agree with his figures.... Lets
say I priced out the hardware at $50,000... If I had a bsjob, I would
be able to afford that, as it is. I'm not.

Indeed, I am facing health issues including reduced blood flow to my
left arm and unexplained swelling in my feet that probably require a
better doctor than the one I've been seeing but I have no fucking money. =|

I really don't give a fuck what trump does once elected, Only that the
people who have destroyed my opportunities won't get their pre-selected
candidate in. (Hillary).

IQ is a measure of how stupid you feel.

Powers are not rights.
