I have just uploaded a *wonderful* little HTTP server to
the BasicLinux site:
-----------------------------------------------
http://homepages.ihug.co.nz/~ichi/baslinux.html
-----------------------------------------------
It requires no configuration. Just cd to the directory you
want to serve from and run it. Piece of cake. Small, stable,
secure and flexible (via optional parameters). And it does
a great job of logging Code Red attacks.

For those of you with networks, it makes a great companion
for Arachne. Just boot BasicLinux on one computer (via
floppy if necessary) and start the server. There is 700kb
of space available in BasicLinux for HTML content, or you
can mount a harddrive or CDrom. On the other computer(s),
run DOS Arachne. Hmmm... could be a good way of building
a distributed information system using survivor PCs.

Cheers,
Steven
